The early morning light had not yet crept into the room when Jungkook stirred awake. Beside him, Taehyung lay sleeping soundly, one leg draped over Jungkook in the familiar way that always made Jungkook smile. Carefully, Jungkook lifted Taehyung's leg and set it gently aside. He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to Taehyung's forehead, trying to memorize every feature before he had to leave.

Slipping quietly out of bed, Jungkook made his way to the shower, letting the warm water wash away the bittersweet feelings of their impending separation. After dressing and packing his things, he returned to Taehyung's side. Kneeling down, he kissed Taehyung's lips tenderly, whispering, "See you soon. I'll miss you. Love you." With one last look, he headed out to the airport, bound for the States.

Hours later, Taehyung woke from his deep sleep, feeling a sense of peace he hadn't felt in ages. The night with Jungkook had been perfect, a comforting presence that he cherished. Realizing that Jungkook had already left, he quickly checked his phone and saw a message.

*Jungkook: You were sleeping so soundly, I didn't want to wake you. I'm at the airport now, heading to the States. Good luck with your events, and I'll see you soon in Korea. Love you.*

Taehyung smiled, though his heart ached. He replied, *Taehyung: I'm going to miss you so much. See you soon. Love you a lot. Have a safe flight.*

Days passed, filled with events and the hustle of Paris Fashion Week. Taehyung threw himself into his work, but the thoughts of Jungkook were never far from his mind. Finally, his schedule in Paris came to an end, and he prepared to return to Korea.

When he landed in Seoul, he knew exactly where he wanted to go. Jungkook had returned from the States a day earlier and was scheduled to perform at Inkigayo that day. Taehyung headed straight to the studio, excitement bubbling within him.

Dressed in a black and white striped loose T-shirt and jeans, Taehyung made his way to the powder room where Jungkook was getting ready. Jungkook, aware of Taehyung's arrival but maintaining his professional demeanor, greeted him with feigned surprise.

"Hey, Tae. From where are you coming?" Jungkook asked casually.

"Straight from the airport," Taehyung replied, smiling. "I came to watch you perform 'Seven' live."

Jungkook's eyes twinkled with delight, though he kept his tone neutral. "Really? You came all this way just for that?"

Taehyung nodded, his heart pounding with affection. "Yeah. Show me the choreography."

Jungkook obliged, demonstrating a few of the key moves. Taehyung watched intently, then mimicked the steps, repeating them several times until he got them right. They laughed together, the room filled with their shared joy and camaraderie. Just as Jungkook was about to head to the stage, he squeezed Taehyung's hand in silent appreciation.

On stage, Jungkook's performance was electric. The crowd cheered as he began to sing, his voice filling the venue. Suddenly, as the music hit a crescendo, Taehyung slipped in among the dancers. With a swift, fluid movement, he joined Jungkook at the front, matching his steps perfectly. Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise, then crinkled with joy. Throughout the performance, their eyes met, a silent conversation passing between them, filled with love and support.

As the final notes of the song played, the audience erupted into applause. Jungkook and Taehyung exchanged a glance, both breathless and exhilarated. Backstage, Jungkook pulled Taehyung into a tight hug.

"Thank you for that," Jungkook said, his voice filled with gratitude. "You were amazing. You picked up the choreography so quickly."

Taehyung grinned. "I had a good teacher. Plus, I couldn't resist joining you."

Jungkook, still flushed from the performance, sat down, fatigue starting to catch up with him. He kept glancing at Taehyung, a silent acknowledgment of their precious, stolen moments. Taehyung, sitting beside him, felt the same warmth. They teased and flirted, making the most of their time together before the world demanded their attention once again.

For now, they were content. In the midst of their hectic lives and public scrutiny, they had each other. And that was enough.
