We arrived at the party in a big manor with people everywhere and all in the back.

I felt off badly. Lucas could tell by the look on my face.

Lucas- You alright?

Madeleine- Uhm.

I shook this crazy feeling off.

Madeleine- Yeah. Yeah I'm alright.

He smiled at me.

Lucas- Okay.

We looked at each other.

Lucas- Do you want a drink?

He stuttered.

Madeleine- Sure! Uh no alcohol.

He snapped his fingers at me.

Lucas- Bet.

I don't know why but that kind of made me bite my lip.. maybe out of nervousness..?

Out of nowhere a drunken smell boy tried to push up on me.

I realized who he was though.

That drunken boy was Sam. A guy in my class that I was once science partners with in sophomore year. But he wanted to cross boundaries.

Sam- Heyyyy- Madeleine.

Madeleine- Oh. Um- Hi..

He took a big sip of his bottle of beer and put his arm around me pulling me very close making me uncomfortable.

Sam- Come with me. I wanna show you something.

Madeleine- Uh- no thanks. I don't really wanna go. Sorry..

Sam- Come onnnn. It's not that big of a deal.

Madeleine- I said I don't wanna go.

He parted from me.

Sam- And I said come on.

He started getting aggressive getting close to my face.

Suddenly Danny stepped in between us.

Danny- Ok listen you need to step off.

He said pointing for him to go.

Sam- No. I wasn't speaking to you I was speaking to her-.

Danny- I don't care. She clearly doesn't want to talk to you.

Sam- Look. It's none of your business.

Danny- None of my business huh.

Danny started chuckling and looking at the ground then out of the blue he punched Sam to the ground.

Danny- How does it feel to get sucker punched. BITCH.

Lauren pulled Danny back and Lucas came rushing out when he realized there was a commotion in the back.

I was shocked at Danny's action.

I mean Danny sure is tough at times but. Punched someone??? Maybe.

Madeleine- Thank you Danny.

Danny- Don't mention it little sis.

I rotated my head.

Madeleine- Little?

Danny- Older than you in months.

I laughed.

Lucas- Oh my god-. What happened?!

Danny- This son of a bitch right here was tampering with Madeleine.

Danny said pointing at the unconscious bloody nose Sam.

Lucas- Dude? What-. Madeleine are you okay?!

He said so worriedly I wanted to melt.
