"It hurts but it's okay!" Dhruv frowned as he watched her sipping the hot, strong coffee.
"Why do you love him so much Vanya ?" He asked looking at her.
She returned his stare with a faint smile. "Do I need a reason to love him Dhruv? If so, I'm not sure what the reason is. Although there may be a million reasons to love him, the most important one is that there are none at all. I love him for who he is."
A faint smile formed on his lips as soon as those words left her mouth.
"Do you believe in love Dhruv?" She asked turning to him and waiting for his answer.
"How can I believe in love when I am looking at you and you are looking at him?"
"Huh?" He shaked his head and muttered a 'nothing'
Their conversation was cut off by a call, for which Vanya excused herself. She said, putting the phone back in her purse, "I need to leave Dhruv; the shoot is about to start." He waved his hand and muttered, "Sure, take care," as she exited the cafe.
She cranked the engine and listened to some music while sitting inside the car. The vehicle came to a stop in front of the target area. Vanya was a little afraid because she was afraid of the water on beach shoot days.
Everyone was prepared for the shoot to start as soon as she got out of the car. As the session got underway, the makeup artist came to her and touched her up a little.
The shooting process came to an end as the sun began to drop. Everyone gave each other a hearty shake, as the shooting day was excellent. Everyone began to leave the area one by one, and Vanya followed accordingly, sitting on the car.
Stepping inside the house, she noticed her parents sitting in the garden, having their evening tea, while Abhay had not yet gotten home. Ishan, Arushi, and the others are already gone.
She got dressed in comfy clothes and settled down on the bed with her journal. She inhaled deeply before starting to write.
Her mother called her from downstairs, "Beta come for the dinner," and she put her diary back on the cupboard. As she made her way downstairs, she said, "Coming mumma"

The room echoed with the sound of groans and hustled breathing. He slammed the punching bag one last fierce kick before dropping to the ground and gasping for air.
He despises it. He despises it beyond everything. He despises being submerged in her breath-taking black orbs.
Since he witnessed the loneliness in her eyes, he can't get the thoughts from his subconscious. He detests it when he notices those dark orbs being blank and not sparkling. He was puzzled as to why he was feeling that way because he didn't know what was wrong with him.
"Stop pretending as if you love me Vanya"
"I will always be one of them to you but you will always be the only one to me"
He rasped and shut his eyes in frustration. He resented that the so-called talk from yesterday kept coming back to him.
"Love?" He chuckled bitterly.
Love ensued a word he loathed. And is there a rationale for this? No. He has no justification for abhorring the word "love."
After a cool shower, he changed into cosy clothes. He picked up the white rose he had purchased yesterday as he was making his way to the cup board and gazed at it. He just wanted to buy those roses, even though he had no idea why.
