The professor cleared his throat, drawing the attention of the class.

"Now, as PhD students, it's important for you to be involved in extracurricular activities. I'd like each of you to suggest a club that you think would be beneficial for our department."Jennie raised her hand, her mind already buzzing with ideas.

"Professor, I think we should start a literature club. We could host readings, discussions, and even invite guest speakers to share their insights."Lisa scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"That's a terrible idea, Jennie. A literature club? How boring. We should start a debate club instead. At least that would be intellectually stimulating."Jennie felt her blood boil.

"Excuse me? A debate club is no more exciting than a literature club. And at least my idea doesn't involve constantly arguing with each other."Lisa leaned forward, her eyes narrowed.

"Oh, but that's where you're wrong, Jennie. Arguing is the best way to sharpen our minds and push each other to new heights. It's what we do best, after all."Jennie shook her head in frustration.

"I don't understand you, Lisa. Why do you always have to be against me? Can't we just work together for once?"Lisa smirked.

"Because, Jennie, you're not capable of making good decisions. You're too busy flirting with Kai to focus on what really matters."Jennie felt her heart skip a beat.

"What are you talking about? I wasn't flirting with Kai. We were just talking."Lisa scoffed.

"Oh, please. You were practically drooling all over him. How can we trust you to lead a club when you can't even keep your hormones in check?"Jennie felt the anger boiling inside her.

"That's it, Lisa. You've gone too far."Without warning, Jennie stood up and slapped Lisa across the face. The sound echoed through the silent classroom, and everyone stared in shock.Jennie glared at Lisa, her chest heaving.

"We may be academic rivals, Lisa, but that doesn't give you the right to treat me like an enemy. I'm sick of your arrogance and your insults. If you can't respect me as a person, then we have nothing more to say to each other."

The professor's face turned red with rage.

"That's enough!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the classroom.

"Both of you, go to the Discipline Committee. This is unacceptable behavior." Jennie and Lisa looked at each other, their faces pale with shock. They knew they had gone too far, and now they would have to face the consequences.

The professor's words hung in the air, a stern reminder of the gravity of their actions. The class was silent, watching as Jennie and Lisa slowly got up and left the classroom, their heads hung in shame. As they walked out, the professor's voice followed them.

"And don't come back until you've learned to respect each other and the classroom." The door closed behind them, and the class erupted into a murmur of whispers and gasps.

The professor's words had left a lasting impression, and Jennie and Lisa knew they had to face the consequences of their actions.

......

As Lisa sat in the Discipline Committee room, her friends Seulgi, Jisoo, and Wendy surrounded her, their faces etched with disappointment and concern.

"Lisa, what the hell were you thinking?" Seulgi scolded, her voice laced with frustration.

"You went way too far back there. Insulting Jennie and bringing up her personal life? That's not like you."Lisa sighed, her gaze drifting across the room to where Jennie sat with her friends Nayeon and Irene.
