How does it feel to have someone you could never get? well, ask Jeonghan. Jeonghan sat in his studytable staring at the picture of someone he could never have. Jeonghan wasn't religious he never believed god existed nor would he but he did believe in angels for he was looking at one. Jisoo Joshua Hong a man he loved. Jeonghan came out to his parents at the age of 16. He remembers their reactions. His dad was furious his mom started yelling saying what a disgrace he was. Jeonghan hasn't expected that from them ofcourse. But he lost all hope in them when his mother sent him to some religious place so that he could be purified and Jeonghan wouldn't argue cause he just couldn't and now he is here doing some service to god. They make him carry stuff, do chores, and clean like he is some kind of servant. Jeonghan wouldn't have hesitated to snap their heads if it wasn't for an angel he saw that day, The priest's son, Joshua moved Jeonghan.

Jeonghan hadn't dreamed of marriage and kids settling but why is it that he imagines himself holding Joshua in his arms every night before going to sleep, hugging him kissing him, and comforting him? Joshua's presence just made Jeonghan restless.  His admiring session was interrupted by large shouts and groans and a voice he could recognize anywhere but he didn't like how it sounded. Joshua and unhappiness don't sit right. Jeonghan rushed out to see the head priest hitting a boy who looked about their age with black bangs that ran out till his forehead and he saw a few people trying to hold a small boy who was trying to get out from their grip and at last he saw Joshua and his blood boiled. Who dares to make his angel cry? Until he was breathing no one could make his angel cry.

"Dad please stop ", he heard Shua say. "If I see you near Jihoon or in this territory I will mark your end", the priest said as he left and the people took away the other boy. It just left Joshua, the boy who was threatened, and Jeonghan there. Joshua approached the other boy and started dressing his wounds. Jeonghans blood was boiling thinking there was someone else being touched by the love of his life. He would have killed the other man if he didn't hear the next words. "Seungcheol I told you to stay away", Shua started but the boy whose name Jeonghan learned to be Seungcheol cut him off. "Joshua am not gonna give up on Jihoon you know that tomorrow or today or someday he is meant to be mine I will make him mine" , Seungcheol said and Joshua sighed. "Do you think I don't like seeing my brother happy Seungcheol? As much as I don't like your relationship like this I still like it because you are the one who makes that emotionless idiot smile", Shua said as more tears fell. Jeonghan wanted to wipe all those tears away and hug his angel. Seungcheol knew what Joshua was getting at. The words from Joshua were a promise, a promise that he would unite them again. Seungcheol left the place and it left Jeonghan and Joshua there. Jeonghan did not know what to say but he slowly approached Joshua handing a handkerchief. Normally Shua would have turned away but right now he accepted it. Jeonghan put one of his hand around joshuas shoulder to comfort him. Jeonghans heart burst out of his chest when Joshua leaned into the hug.

Maybe he had a chance? But Jeonghan doesn't want to raise his hopes high.

When Joshu left Hannie stared at his shoulder where Joshua had leaned in and thanked him for being there to comfort him. If only Joshua knew what Jeonghan had thought about both of them. The morning came around and Jeonghans regular duties began. He could hear the people of the church shouting at him to lift things properly and carry stuff. Jeonghan cursed all of them inside his mind but lifted things anyway. When afternoon came Jeong Han had time to rest. Usually, Jeonghan eats alone cause he prefers that rather than eating with people who criticized you 247 for liking the same gender. But today for some reason Jeong Han had thought he would not be alone cause he saw his angel approach him. Joshua looked like he lacked sleep with the dark circles under his eyes and the fatigue that gave away. Jeonghan's heart raced when Joshua approached him and handed him a drink. "The people made you work so much", he heard Joshua say. If Joshua would check up on him every time he was made to work he would do it every day. "They surely did", he replied while staring at Joshua as if he was his prey. "Uhmm I don't know how to express things properly but thanks for being there to comfort me", Joshua said and Han gave a smile. "You can count on me", Han said making Joshua smile. Han wanted to see that every day when he wakes up in the morning and when he goes to sleep. HAn was this obsessed with the priest's son. He felt like he was a male lead of a forbidden love novel chasing after something that could never be his.
