𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏 - 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞

"Help! Someone, help me! Is someone there? Hey! Oh, shit, I'm probably dead." A Voice calls out. "There's no point yelling. I already tried. The first voice continues,"What the heck's going on? Where am I?".The second voice scoffs but the first one continues again."Turn on the lights!". "Would if I cou-". He pauses then continues,"Oh, wait... Hang on. Think I found something."

Suddenly, I woke up. Everything was a blur,dark and a deafening silence among us. Until I heard someone,very familiar shouting my name.

"Y/N!" Adam called out. I move forward a bit,hearing a chain, I looked down seeing i was locked onto..something. "Shit." I thought,where am I,and how did I get here? I saw two guys,realising it was Adam I suddenly called out."ADAM? ARE YOU THERE?"

"YEAH ITS ME" He called out, I sighed,being glad someone I knew was here,but that wasn't it. I turned my head left seeing a blonde guy,probably near his 30s..Me and Adam were both 26. "Who are you?" The blonde man said, I knew Adam was gonna come up with some response being angry towards the stranger, "MY NAME IS VERY FUCKING CONFUSED WHATS YOUR NAME?".The man pulled a face, "Dr Lawrence Gordon." Then suddenly pointed to me,"Whats yours?". I also pulled a face at him then gave in to reply,to be kind of course.

"Y/N" after I spoke, Adam gave a me a 'what the fuck' sort of face, I ignored him. It shortly went quiet after that, no one spoke for at least five or six minutes. It gave me time to look around this..bathroom?..I assumed it was because of the tiles,mirror,bath and toilet. But who put us here and how did they do it? I learned that all three of us was chained to a pipe,Lawrence was in a corner next to a large iron door. Adam however was in-between the bath and a toilet,me on the other hand was in the corner near the bath,much closer to Adam. Thank god I was.

"Do you see any scars?" Adam shouted pulling up his white shirt asking the two of us. "What?" I said,He continued,"This is what they do man, they kidnap you and you wake up in a bathtub with your kidneys on Ebay" I snicker slightly at his statement and he just stares at me. "Nobody has taken your kidneys. I know that because you would be, A in pain or B dead." I nod agreeing to the doctor, Adam just mocking what he said,shortly after that it went silent again.

"So,are you gonna tell me your name or what?" Lawrence spoke up. "Adam",I was surprised to say the least thinking he wouldn't give in to say his name,but he did. I spoke up soon after, "Can we fucking find out how to get free from these chains or what?", Giving an attitude towards to two men. They both just nodded,rolling my eyes we all looked around,near things,under things,until Adam found a tape in his pocket and so did Lawrence. I looked in my pocket nothing to be found. Until I looked in my bra. Surprisingly finding a tape aswell.

"How the hell are we going to hear whats on these without a tape player thing?" I asked. Until Adam looked at the dead man in the middle,speaking up,"It's..there.". Me and Lawrence looked to the middle, seeing a tape player. For a few moments we all thought. How do we get it?.

A few moments later, Adam tell us an idea on how he can get it. Me and Lawrence nod of course and Adam trys for the first time to get it, obviously failing, luckily the second time he grabs it and motions to Lawrence, "Pass me your tape", "No chuck me the player", Adam scoffs and replies, "Im not going to risk breaking it now pass the tape." Gordon finally gives in and chucks over the tape and Adam plays it.

"Dr. Gordon, this is your wake-up call. Every day of your working life you have given people the news that they're gonna die soon. Now, you will be the cause of death. Your aim in this game is to kill Adam. You have until six on the clock to do it. There's a man in the room with you. When there's that much poison in your blood, the only thing left to do...is shoot yourself. There are ways to win this hidden all around you. Just remember, X marks the spot for the treasure. If you do not kill Adam by six, then Alison and Diana will die, Dr. Gordon... and I'll leave you in this room to rot. Let the game begin. Follow your heart."

Adam takes the tape out chucking it back to the blonde man and turns over to me. "Princess pass me your tape" he says doing a little hand thing to basically say throw it over, I nod throwing it over and Adam quickly putting it in the player.

"Hello Y/N, you may not know me, but I know you. Your whole life your attitude towards people have changed also to the fact your parents are...lets say..disappointed that you chose Adam instead of being a lawyer like they wanted. You had the choice to go back but you didn't. Let's see how your little attitude now gets you out of this bathroom, your fate lies with adams,live or die the choice is yours."

"What the hell?" I screamed, shocked how this man knew so much and soon after Adam played his tape aswell.

"Rise and shine, Adam. You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. Up until now you simply sat in the shadows watching others live out their lives. But what do voyeurs see when they look into the mirror? Now, I see you as a strange mix of someone angry, yet apathetic. But mostly just pathetic. So are you going to watch yourself die today, Adam, or do something about it?".
