Because my last mission injured me to a point where I can't even property hold a sword I was given a week off to heal, but my partners were busy as always.Of course they are they're pillars the highest rank in the demon slayer corps they train low rank demon slayers in the day and at night they're scheduled to patrol around villagers to keep people safe.

Being the partner of two pillars is very scary they're always needed in dangerous missions but at the same time I don't worry much cause they're pillars.

We decided it'd be best to keep our relationship a secret,not even the other pillars know about us.

Anyways back to my day off, I've decided to make my partners lunch! Since they're so busy with their work I think it's best to save them time to cook and stuff so I got to the kitchen and started working.

I first started with the easiest dish Obanai's favourite Tororo Kombu, once I was done with that I then made Mitsuri's lunch which consisted of some rice balls and dangos a thing of ramen,miso soup and for dessert Sakura mochi!

I then wrapped both of them with furoshiki, tided them with a nice knot and headed off to their estates.

Obanai's estate was the closest so I went up to his door and knocked, I heard nothing so maybe it was break time? If I remember correctly he would be training with a few lower ranked demon slayers.

My thoughts were cut off when I heard the door slide

"Ah!Obanai I brought- oh hi"as I turned to head to the door it turns out to be a student of his.She had her hair tied up and messed up uniform I greeted her nicely.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"She said as she scanned me up and down

"Oh I'm (Name) is Obanai not here?"I asked and I tried looking around before she blocked my vision

"Um he probably doesn't want to see someone like you" she stopped for a moment and looked at the wrapped up bento in my hands "if you're here to deliver you can just leave it to me"

"Oh I'm here to give him his lunch-" I said as I handed out his lunch before it was knocked out of my hand

"HA! Who are you to give him his lunch" she pulled my collar unexpectedly "Listen if you're trying to win his heart with your little hand made lunches it probably won't work because he has his eyes on ME I'm going to become the wife of the serpent pillar now leave." She said and looked at me for the last time before she shut the door in my face.

"Huh what the hell is her problem bitch waaaaa I'm telling Mitsuri about this"I said to myself as I looked at food on the ground.

I stood before Mitsuri's estate and softly knocked on her door, within seconds I heard footsteps coming towards the door

"Ahh (Name) you're here! Come in come in" she welcomed me

I stayed quiet for a few seconds while looking down

"What's wrong?" Mitsuri asked me as she held onto my shoulder

"Waaaaa!" I cried out "Mitsuriiiii I was delivering some lunch to Obanai and some girl opened the door she slapped the bento off my hand and slammed the door on me hard" I said in one breath, I quickly handed her lunch after "and here yours by the way"
