Verstappen hadn't presented yet.
He was 22, so everyone thought that he was a beta.

Well that was false.

He did not finish that race. At that point he was experiencing immense heat.

Turns out that it was actual heat.

That was unexpected, he was an omega.

After he got out of the hospital, the news of his presenting was already announced.
People were shocked ,yes! But it didn't cause an uproar. It wasn't normal, but nor was it odd, to preset at such an age.

He was rereading the replies on the red bull official tweet dropped, his phone pinged with a notification.
Lando invited, him, Charles and Carlos, for fifa.

It wasn't a news flash that he sucked at it, but that wasn't why he hesitated to come along.

The invitation was sent while he was in the hospital, but the problem was, that due to his sudden heat and the impact from that horrifying crash, he was not allowed to drive ... heck he wasn't allowed to do any physical activities for a continuous amount of time..only for a few days of course.

The problem could be easily solved, with Lando offering to pick him up, but instead, he insisted Charles to pick him up.

Thinking about it, Max always had a strange liking for the alpha.

But as much as he hates the concept of it, and no matter how much he tried to deny it, soulmates exist. And Charles wasn't his.

They were around the age of 8 at that time and Charles went around telling that to everybody, it was sweet, he slept with the hopes that maybe they'd be destined for He told himself to push away his feelings, the pair of the alpha and architect omega, was probably fated.

He was sad, yes. But a part of him, a really small part of him, which believed in soulmates, knew that there was probably someone he was destined with.
