Ruining My Life

In shadows cast by broken dreams,
Where whispers haunt and sorrow streams,
A life undone by choices made,
In twilight's grip, my hopes do fade.

With every step, the path grows wild,
Once bright ambitions now beguiled,
Regret, my ever-present guide,
In ruins deep, my soul does hide.

Yet in this wreckage, seeds may grow,
From pain, new strength begins to show,
For in the dark, the stars still shine,
A ruined life, but still it's mine.
