Chapter 0 - [ Prologue ]
Once upon a time. Beneath the damp surface. Under the light of the sun and moon. Within the flowy waves of the wind that gushes with the surface water to flow alongside it's force. Deep in the oceanic water, where corals are to been seen yet rare to be seen. Lived a civilization where creatures of the watet lived. Amongst them are creatures that are accepted and not.
Without said approval of acceptance. The underwater society cannot easily let such existence roam free without proper reminder. After all, society has freedom yet freedom only exist in eyes of those who seek it and knows it. Nevertheless, nobody really knows if freedom really exist...
--Have they...................?

"Hahah! look! He's going to cry again!"
A young boy merfolk cried out loud in mockery. Another boy joined in, laughing alongside the other as it howled it's laugher with arrogance. "Awh? gonna cry again? you ink-spewer!"
"S-stop...! why can't you just leave me alone...?" A cecaelia: who's crumbled up like a ball sack, proceeds to sob, bawling it's tears out as a black coloured liquid spewed out of the cecaelia uncontrollably.
"stop!. we can't have play tag if the water is so cloudy!" A young girl merfolk spoke in disgust about the water around them. Seeping and mixing with the black coloured ink that originated from the cecaelia. A mixture of colour that isn't delightful to see and is in fact an eyesore for ruining the ecosystem. While it took the two young male merfolks a second to look at eachother eye to eye, as if doing telepathy. They both agreed that it would be a not so pleasant playtime if the water is dark coloured like mud.
"Let's swim away before he inks us!" The boy jumbled with small chuckles spoke jokingly as he swims away from the cecaelia. alongside with his friends who are all joining him to mockingly snicker towards the poor lonely cecaelia."Oh no! swim away everyone!" One shouted as later, all merfolk children had swept away with the flows of waters and away from the baby octopus. Off into the distance and out of sight.
The poor baby octopus then proceeds to sob at it's lonesomeness. Not having anyone to comfort it's misery other then itself. Crumbling into a much much more smaller ball sack as the octopus wasted it's own tears. Looking more pathetic as he continues to use his heart as a solution to let go of his sorrows within his cracked heart.
...
-- From a far; seated a merfolk all alone with no one dare to approach. Either for the betterment or for the worst. The child was alone... just like the crying cecaelia. Unlike the cecaelia, the said merfolk didn't cry, Flinched or even talk. They silently look forward at front. Staring at nothing but a distance scenery of waters and corals, decorated with animals of small and big.
The merfolk had no sorrows to show. The more to show the more others want more of a reaction. They simply wanted to be at peace with the waters around them. Everything in place. Yet that feeling of loneliness lingers within the cracked heart of the sea creature. Which... they didn't mind but it left an impact on why they were born to exist to be alone. Their naivety being at the top, thinking everything is dark and shallow. Only to later take a glance to their side, glancing at far distant figure.
Hearts cracked of the same yet because of isolation. None of both had seen one of another. Except--

-- A grey haired male stood up from his bed. Panting mixed with a confused reaction. Unbeknownst to the male, he looked around frantically. Seemingly scared of his own familiar surroundings until a few minutes of panic worn out within a few moments of taking deep breaths.
The male looked at his hands. Trying to adjust his eye sight from his already blurry vision. The male doesn't know what was going on or what is going on. He wanted to know but wished he wasn't told anything. Within a moment of silence. He looked at the wall to his right calmly. Looking at a decently large picture frame that doesn't display a picture but rather a collection of varieties of coins. He looks at the same direction for a long period of time, forgetting completely of all his uneasiness, thinking about absolutely nothing other then a blank canvas of blackness in his head.
Now back into a somewhat conscious state of mind. The grey haired male slowly moved to grab his glasses which is on the night desk. after obtaining the object, he putted it on his face, adjusting the placement of the glasses just right on the bridge of his nose. Letting out a huff as he rethinks about the dream but can't recall a single significant detail of it. Only left with the past feeling of the dream and nothing more or less. The male doesn't care, he doesn't want to recall anything. Nothing of the past, nothing of his old self. He can only wish for the best and hope that whatever god or high mighty deity that exist in this world will grant what he needs, which is to forget.
—— Wishing only for hope that the past shalt not continue...
