COTE: Cid Kagenou in The Classroom of Elite

Chapter 2

Birds chirped close to the room as Cid Kagenou, recently reborn, awoke on a chilly morning.

My head still hurts, not sure why. It could be because I didn't eat or drink enough yesterday. I should have had something to eat.

I woke up at 5 am, it seems like I fell asleep quickly last night.

After finishing a speedy breakfast with the items purchased from the convenience store yesterday, I exercised, showered, and was prepared to exit my room.

"Hello Cid another coincidence huh"

"Yes, it seems so Ayanokoji did you have a good night's sleep"

Walking into the elevator together and making our way to school.

"You made a  friend Ayanokoji?" Said a black-haired girl with a curious look

"Horikita even I can manage to befriend people believe it or not"

She curiously looked at Cid Kagenou inspecting him like a hawk

"He seems too ordinary but I'm not surprised," she said with a frown

"No need to be mean"

This is simply the validation I was looking for, I am the ideal supporting character as I have effectively assigned myself to this role.

"This is Cid Kagenou, Cid this is Suzune Horikita a classmate"

"Did you just introduce me I have no intentions of making friends?" She said looking annoyed

"Nice to meet you Hiyari" replying with a cold face

"It is Horikita," she said with an annoyed face

"My bad Hikari normally I remember the important character names," he said with an innocent smile on

Having reached the school, they went to their respective classes.

The classes are usually quite simple for me, as everyone in the class makes an effort to study due to the rule of Ryuuen. I grasped the content quite well, but to be the ideal supportive character, you need decent grades without being too high. I spend most of my day with Yamawaki and Kinoshita, two average-looking boys who remind me of Skel and Po, my friends at the Midgar Academy of Dark Nights.

At last, the day came to an end, and the club event was taking place for the first-year students to explore the school clubs. However, I had alternative intentions.

"Cid Cid!" Yamawaki approached me

"You wanna attend the club gathering?"

"Yes Yes Yes! this is our chance to join the football club and score major points with the girls" Kinoshita said with an excited face

"I'll go along and check it out with you 2"

As they headed towards the gymnasium, it was obvious that the seniors were making a strong effort to convince the first years to join.

This is my chance to make a flawless escape NOW! As we neared the football glub gathering.

"Guys I'm afraid you need to leave me behind," Cid said looking awkward 

"Why is that? You don't mean!" he said with a shocking expression

"Yes I need to go to the toilet right now or else" With a shocked expression on his face

"I understand Cid! We will make you proud by becoming top players in the club don't worry" Yamawaki said tightening his fist

Delighted with his flawless technique, Cid Kagenou escaped the situation and left the Gymnasium, while a figure emerged on the stage and began speaking.

Now that all the students have gathered in one location, I will discreetly explore the area. If asked, I'll simply explain that I'm confused about the way to the gym because I'm a first year.

I went to the library to pick up books to read during my free time in class. Hurriedly heading towards a worn bookshelf and examining the books. Selecting some items and heading to the checkout, I sensed the gaze of a silver-haired girl behind me who I believe was in my class. I couldn't recall her name, but she appeared to be observing what I was doing. Perhaps she will laugh at me if she asks, but I will just say I borrowed them for a friend.

I headed up to the rooftop to unwind since it was quite hot today. I strolled to the top floor and around the building, ascended to the highest point, and shut my eyes.

I woke up to a noise coming from the lower area of the rooftop, where a blonde girl had arrived and was kicking her leg against the railing. Girl drama must be rough I'll act like I'm not here. moments later the girl calmed down and made her way down. I noticed she had forgotten something I jumped down to the lower part and picked up her school bag. and began walking towards the stairs heading down.

Goddamn it why is she there it pisses me off and then she openly rejects me. She probably remembers what I did. Wait I forgot my back up there

Kushida started walking towards the stairs when she suddenly noticed an average-looking man coming down with her bag, surprising her as she didn't expect anyone to come from the roof. She froze in place, not responding as he got closer.

"Must be rough" Cid muttered pushing her bag into her arms and walking on by without giving her a chance to respond.

Who, what made Kushida's thoughts come to a sudden halt as she stood still and processed the situation? She swiftly looked back, but he had vanished.

-(Cod Kagenou Pov)-

I still have a task to complete before returning to my room, I have 94,000 Points remaining which should be doable.

Cid Kagenou headed to the shopping center and purchased a white wig to conceal his black hair completely, along with a few fake scar tattoos.

Sigh, 87.000 Points left I didn't expect it to be that expensive however its necessary if I wanna be the eminence in shadow. The only thing I find bothersome is the fact that the room's wall color is almost entirely white. It's irritating – perhaps I could request a different color from the school. However, the other rooms are likely to have a similar appearance, resembling a White Room.

"White Room" Cid Muttered quietly not noticing a certain girl sitting on the bench next to where he was walking by.

-(Arisu Sakatanagi Pov)-

The last two days have been dull, but I can't tolerate Katsuragi's leadership. I'll give him some space for now and gradually take over as the undeniable leader of Class A!

Arisu was sitting on a bench waiting for Kamuro a girl who seemingly followed Arisu's orders. but then a male walked by and caught Arisu off guard with what he muttered.

"White Room"

Arisu paused for a moment to understand what had just happened, while the unfamiliar male figure walked off.

What did he just say? The White Room, I had believed that the only other person besides myself with a connection to it was Ayanokoji. Why did he make such a statement? Wasn't that the person who ignored me the first day? It doesn't seem like a coincidence that he would quietly say that word while walking by me. Who is he? What is he implying by claiming he has knowledge of the White Room?

"Arisu you ready to go? why are you smiling so much" Kamuro asked looking weirdly at her

"Let's just say a new character has appeared" she said with a grin
