~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~3rd Person
Ella, daughter of Taylor swift, lately has been depressed and has been feeling no motivation to do anything. Her days were spent in a haze of lethargy and her nights were filled with restless tossing and turning. She would wake up every morning with the same sense of emptiness and despair, as if a part of her had been hollowed out. The only thing that gave her any semblance of pleasure was to listen to her mother's old records, to revel in the memories and emotions that those songs evoked.But even that was becoming more and more difficult. The darkness seemed to seep into every crevice of her being, making it hard for her to concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes at a time. She would find herself staring blankly at the wall, lost in a world of her own making, where the only thing that existed was the weight of her depression.
Her body felt heavy and sluggish, as if she were moving through water. She hadn't had an appetite in weeks, and her once-slender frame was beginning to show the effects of her self-imposed starvation. She didn't have the energy to cook, or even to order takeout. Most days, she survived on whatever her mother left her: a sandwich, a bowl of cereal, a piece of fruit. It wasn't enough to sustain her, but it was all she could manage.
Ella's mother, focused on her tour, hadn't noticed the sudden shift in Ella's personality. She was too busy rehearsing, performing, meeting with fans and sponsors. Ella tried to tell herself that it was for the best; that her mother was doing what she loved and that she needed the support of her adoring public. But it didn't change the fact that she felt alone, abandoned, and utterly lost.
She felt guilty for feeling like this and didn't want to bother her mother with her troubles. After all, she was Taylor Swift; the epitome of strength and resilience. She couldn't possibly understand what it was like to be depressed, to feel so empty inside. Ella knew that her mother had faced her own share of heartaches and setbacks, but she seemed to have overcome them all. She was the embodiment of hope and courage, and Ella couldn't bring herself to tarnish that image.
But one day, Taylor's publicist Tree noticed. Tree had always been quite close with Ella and has known her since she was born. She had seen the change in her demeanor over the past few months, the way she would withdraw into herself, how her eyes seemed to lose their sparkle. Tree knew that something was wrong and decided that it was time to intervene. She set up a meeting with Ella, hoping to talk to her about what was going on.
When the day finally came, Tree sat down with Ella in her mother's study. The room was filled with memories of Taylor's career: photos, albums, awards, and newspaper articles. But for Ella, it was just another reminder of how much she felt she'd failed to live up to her mother's legacy.
"Ella, I've noticed that you haven't been yourself lately," Tree began, her voice gentle but firm. "You've been distant, withdrawn. I'm worried about you. Is there anything you want to talk about?"
Ella looked up, her eyes filling with tears. She wanted to confide in Tree, to share her pain with someone who understood her mother and the pressure she felt to live up to her expectations. But the words caught in her throat, and all she could do was shake her head. "No," she croaked. "I'm fine. Really."
It was a lie, but she couldn't bring herself to admit it. Not to Tree, not to anyone. She couldn't bear the thought of being a burden, of tarnishing her mother's perfect image. "I'm just tired," she managed to say, her voice sounding distant even to her own ears. "It's been a long tour, you know?"
Tree studied her carefully, her brow furrowing ever so slightly. She knew Ella well enough to see the cracks in her story. "I understand that it's been hard, but you've been like this for months now. You can't just brush it off as tiredness, Ella. You're not yourself, and it's starting to show."
