Zaila, a young Geloff, loved her village, she had lived here all of the 14 years she had lived, it was
such a happy, safe place. The content she felt being in the village of Prairie was as close to being
in her mother's arms as an infant. Zaila had just begun to develop her powers, as this was the
age that they would start to surface, it excited Zaila.
There was a very big secret that Zaila hid from everyone she knew, she had befriended someone
a few seasons ago, that someone was a Dailoz the same age as she was, she had met him while
collecting daisie's deep within the woods, next to Thorn end stream. His name was Bibbie, no
one knew of their secret friendship as it was forbidden but Zaila only saw good and kindness in
bibbies heart, he was not like any of the Dailoz she had heard about, he was a genuine friend.
Zaila was scared for Bibbie as he would be damned by his family for being a traitor to his own
kind.
Walking along the rocky path towards Thorn end stream, searching for blue frogs, a delicacy to
Geloffs, zaila seen something move in the corner of her eye in the distance, zaila froze and
suspiciously scanned all around, after a number of seconds she did not see anything so carried
on looking for blue frogs, its was so pretty by Thorn end stream, big ancient tree trunks entwined with the earth beside the stream, dragonflies hovered above, and long stalked
mushrooms bowed over the stream, as if they were thirsty. Zaila now thinking to herself how
hungry she was, the blue frogs looked delicious. Again zaila all of a sudden seen a shadow like
figure across Thorn end stream again, on the sacred ground, as she got up and looked, the figure
just stayed there and didn't hide, and seemed to be staring directly at zaila, so Zaila quickly left
and ran home as fast as she could without dropping the blue frogs out of the pouch she wore
tied around her waist
