As I made my way through the corridors of Advanced Nurturing High School, I couldn't help but notice that something was amiss. Soft whispers seemed to follow me wherever I went, and when I glanced around, I caught fleeting glances filled with curiosity or even suspicion. Despite my usual aloof demeanor, I couldn't help but sense that something was different. It was then that I heard the first faint whisper of the rumors that were circulating about me.

My mind immediately went to work as I tried to understand the situation. I knew that I had to figure out who was spreading the rumors and why. I quickly observed the body language and expressions of the students around me, taking note of any unusual behavior. I also paid attention to the content of the whispers and rumors that were floating around, trying to pick up any clues or leads that could help me piece together the puzzle.

As I continued walking, I started to notice a pattern - every time I heard the whispers, they seemed to come from a specific group of students who were standing nearby, huddled together and talking in hushed tones. I watched them closely, trying to catch any subtle hints or gestures that could give me a clue as to who was the source of the rumors. I knew that I had to find a way to gather more information without drawing attention to myself.

Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice calling my name. I turned to see a female classmate, Sayuri, walking towards me. Her cheeks flushed pink as she approached, and I observed her  as she spoke to me. She seemed nervous and excited, like she was hiding something. I quickly turned my attention back to the group of students who were still whispering among themselves. Maybe there was a connection between the rumors and Sayuri's behavior.

"Oh...sayuri, did you need something?" Sayuri's cheeks flushed slightly pinker as she responded, "Y-yes, I did want to ask you something..." She hesitated for a moment, nervously twirling a strand of hair around her finger. "I've been hearing rumors about us going around...about us secretly dating."

I looked at Sayuri, my expression remaining neutral as I processed the information. I wasn't surprised that such rumors were circulating, as I had noticed the whispers and stares from the other students. As she spoke, I couldn't help but notice the body language that accompanied her words. She appeared nervous and anxious, constantly fidgeting with her hair and shifting her weight from one foot to the other. It seemed like she was carrying a secret that she desperately wanted to share with me.

"Is there something else you wanted to tell me?" I asked, keeping my tone neutral. I watched closely for any changes in her body language, hoping to get a better understanding of what was going on. I was aware that some students were still watching us closely from a distance, their whispers and murmurs growing louder as they speculated about our conversation.

Sayuri's expression seemed to flicker with a mixture of excitement and unease. She hesitated for a moment before speaking, her voice trembling ever so slightly. "You see...I..." she began, her eyes darting around nervously as if she couldn't meet my gaze directly. I observed her body language closely, noticing that her hands were balled into tense fists at her sides and her lips were pressed together tightly, a clear sign of stress. It was evident that there was something she wanted to reveal, but she was struggling to find the right words.

As I watched Sayuri, I couldn't help but wonder what was going through her mind. She seemed to be struggling to express herself, her body language betraying her internal conflict. I waited patiently for her to continue, trying to keep my own emotions in check. I knew that it was important to maintain a calm and collected demeanor in this situation, as I had to remain vigilant and observant in order to uncover the truth behind the rumors.

Finally, Sayuri seemed to gather her courage and blurted out, "I was the one who started the rumors, ayanokoji-san!" Her words were spoken quickly, her voice laced with both embarrassment and anxiety. I could see the regret and shame in her eyes as she revealed the truth to me. I knew that she had been carrying this secret for a while, and that it had been weighing heavily on her conscience.
