She remembers very well the day Seiya kissed her. Mamoru was gone for a week in another city, two hours from Juban by train. Because after canceling his trip to America, he went on a short internship in a good hospital to try to fit in. Ami had offered him to try the hospital her mother was working at and where he had been hospitalized but he turned down the offer, saying "I shouldn't risk being favored by workers I know there, I rather try something new first."

For a week, all Usagi could do all day long was sigh, counting the days and hours left until Mamoru's return. She really did miss him... thankfully this time he actually sent her letters, she cherished each one of them. She enjoyed reading about the experience he gained each day.

"What are you smiling at dumpling head?" She cringed when she heard that voice and slowly turned around.

"I told you they're buns!" She responded in an angry tone, slamming her foot on the ground.

"Ooh scary.." he joked, Usagi was pouting and scoffed, waiting for Seiya to actually say something, but he was rather focused on something she was holding in her hand. She blinked twice before lowering her gaze to see what he was looking at and noticed she was still holding Mamoru's letter from yesterday night. She cleared her throat.

"What?" She asked, encouraging him to talk. It was his turn to scoff, hands in his pocket he walked towards her.

"Nothing." He shrugged, before patting her head. "I just wondered what you were reading." He added before stealing the paper from her hand in a smooth and rapid movement.

"Hey, give it back!" She started blushing, reaching for the letter.

"It's from... Mamoru, that guy's out of town right? Has he been sending you letters?" He spoke while avoiding her attempts at grabbing the piece of paper.

"Of course he has, he's my boyfriend!" She exclaimed before jumping, succeeding in taking back the paper from Seiya who froze for a second. She stuck out her tongue to him before carefully folding the paper and putting it in her pocket. She looked up at Seiya who had been quiet, raising an eyebrow.

"How much do you love him?" He asked out of nowhere, suddenly being serious. Usagi's eyes widened in surprise before she cleared her throat.

"Mamo-chan... I can't express how much I love him but... just the fact that he's away right now, it makes me feel empty." She declared, saddened. Seiya approached her in determinate steps, his fists closed. Why did she have to be Serenity, and why, why did he have to be Endymion. Was there really nothing to change the future and the past, to make him have a spot in her heart? He always knew they were dating, but it was his first time hearing it from her. And he hated it.

"And how much does he love you?" He muttered.

"Mamo-chan?" She said surprised, well, she didn't quite know how to answer that question. "I guess, a lot... like... really, really big?" She expressed it with her arms widening as he smirked at her goofy attitude.

"He can never love you more than I do Usagi."Seiya stated, taking her by surprise.

"Huh?" She frowned, as he took a step further, and her backwards, until her back hit the fence.

"I'd never make you feel empty, ever." He shook his head, his fingers slowly grabbing her chin. Usagi's lips parted, and her eyes widened as she realized what he was about to do, leaning down. His lips solely brushed hers before she pushed him away and stepped to the side.

"S-seiya!" She bit her lips, her cheeks red before she shook her head. "Thank you, for liking someone like me but I already have Mamo-chan!" She exclaimed before rushing to the exit, her heart pumping fast, but clearly not like when it was because of Mamoru. No, more like stress, how she'd feel before taking an exam she didn't study... or something along those lines.
