'Beep, beep, beep, beep' I opened my eyes, and I was staring at a monitor. I was in the hospital. I looked over and my kids were sitting there. Maddy was sleeping on Davon's lap. I smiled and Davon looked at me.
"Hey Mom, are you okay? Maddy has been crying nonstop. So, I missed my flight." He spoke.
"I am okay baby. Get ready. I will book the next flight there." I spoke.
"I did it already." Ian walked in with flowers. A guy walked behind him with coach gear on.
"Davon, this is your coach. Your stuff is already in his truck. Make your mom proud." Ian said. Davon passed Maddy to Ja and dabbed up Ian. Davon was super excited because he was able to go. I did not want to stop his college stuff for my problems. Davon walked
with the coach then ran to give me a hug and kiss. I was in pain, but he was not leaving without kissing his mom.
"Hey, I will be his coach and his mentor. Do not worry about him. I got him. Ian has my number." His coach said to me then left out. Maddy got up and said:
"Jaquan, I am hungry." She turned around to see if I was still sleeping.
"Mommyyyyy!" She came running to kiss me.
"Hey baby, Ja, take her to eat." I spoke. Of course, you know Ian had money to give them. I turned around and I was in so much pain. Ian placed the flowers with the other flowers people sent me over the night.
"How are you feeling?" Ian asked.
"Ian, did you want me for my pussy?" I asked and Ian walked by me.
"Meghan if I wanted you for your pussy, I would have left you years ago when we were not supposed to have sex." He said then giggled.
"When did you get out?" I asked.
"Today. They kept Bo though. Let me ask you something. You been fucking with Red?" He asked me.
"No, he just bailed me out." I spoke.
"Oh okay, who did this to you. Do not lie to me?" Ian asked me. I looked down and knew if I said something they were going to put her away.
"No one, I don't want to talk about it right now." I spoke.
"Okay, fair." He spoke. He came down and kissed my forehead while the doctor walked in.
"Hey Mrs. Smith. You are good to go home. Your ribs are okay, they will just soar and there is a fractured bone under your left eye. Are you looking to file a police report?" The doctor asked.
"No, not at this moment." I spoke.
"Okay, you have 72 hours to do so. If you have any more pain, come right back. I sent the medication to you already. Let me know if you need anything else." The doctor said. A nurse came to clean my IV up and got me clean to go. Ian brought me clothes, so he
helped me get dressed. I was ready to get into my bed. Ian had my phone in his pocket. It was ringing.
"Here you go baby. It's been ringing all night." He said while passing me the phone then went to find the kids so we can go.
"Meg, who did that to you?" Red said.
"I don't know." I spoke. "I was last with you. I see you waved down the girl across the street. You talk or I will get someone to make her talk." Red said.
"Can we please handle it later?" I asked.
"Yes, are you okay though? You want to come here?" Red asked.
"Yes, I am, and I am going to go hang with the kids a bit." I spoke.
"See all the flowers I sent you. I hope you loved them." He spoke.
