Bellami's POV:
After the orientation, Malachi, Cici, and I walked out of the auditorium and we were honestly confused about what to do next.
But Cici and Malachi were still happy about the entire thing, but my mind was on something else.
"Well, that was a nice orientation; I'm so excited about what we have to learn!" Malachi said happily.
"Hell yeah, man, I'm so psyched to get this shit started!" Cici exclaimed.
"What about you Bellami?" Malachi asked.
"Yeah, man, you ready to get your training going?" Cici said.
I stayed quiet, I was lost in my thoughts. Mainly because the thought of my brother crossed my mind.
I tried not to focus on it and brush it off, but since we're going to the same school now, it's kind of hard to ignore it.
"Bellami?" Malachi said sounding a bit worried.
"You good man?" Cici said nudging my shoulder.
"U-uh yeah, I'm ready. Just got lost in thought, my bad." I said snapping back to reality.
Malachi and Cici nodded in response and the 3 of us started walking together mainly trying to see where to go next.
But before we got too far away from the auditorium all of our phones went off. We all checked what notifications we got, and it turns out they were emails of the schedules of our classes.
Luckily we all had the same first 2 classes.
"Oh, looks like they already assigned us classes; that's pretty nice. Saves us the time of picking." Malachi said. "Plus we already have 2 classes together!"
"But we have 5 of them, that's going to take forever!" Cici groaned.
"Cici you'll be fine, now let's go find our class. I don't want to be late on the first day." I said.
"The schedule says that our first class is with someone named Ms. Elizabeth, and her room is on the second floor." Malachi said. "All we need to do is look for the door that's multi-colored."
"Oddly specific but let's go." I said.
"What kind of person has a multi-colored door anyway?" Cici asked.
Malachi and I just shrugged before we started walking; it wasn't that hard to find the stairwell, and when we got to the top, Ms. Elizabeth's door was the 4th door down the hall.
"Well, that wasn't hard to find." I said.
"Yeah let's go guys!" Malachi exclaimed as he started to walk to the classroom.
"I wonder what she's going to teach us, I'm honestly interested." Cici said.
"Probably the basic things like history or something battling related. That's what Nico told us when he brought me and Malachi here." I explained.
As the 3 of us got to the door I heard someone walking behind us. I was the first to turn around before the other two did and the person behind us was my brother, Tyson.
"Hey you guys." Tyson said with a monotone tone of voice.
"Hey Tyson, I was wondering where you've been!" Malachi said. "I haven't seen you come by my house in a while."
"Yeah same here." Cici added.
"My bad, I've just been handling a few things on my own. Haven't had the time to do anything else." He replied.
"Yeah, you not being around is a signature for you; no shocker there." I said crossing my arms.
Before Tyson could respond to my comment, the door behind us opened, and a voice spoke afterward.
