~Unknown location~

A blank void, that's all that could be found.

Pure white, that's all that could ever be seen in this place.

There was a sound, an odd mix of distant sizzling and the loud silence that encompassed everything.

A shadow appeared above, quickly growing as the figure fell.

BOOM

A sound akin to two hollow plastic tubes being whacked together resounded as the figure hit the ground, the small sound being deafening within the audience of silence.

Now stationary, the figure's features could be distinguished.

It was a man, his skin fairly pale and his hair charcoal black, he appeared to be tall, but it was difficult to tell with nothing around to compare to, he was muscular but not bulky.

The man was wearing a wine-red coat that covered a sleek gray turtleneck and black duty pants complemented by black duty boots that weren't too dissimilar to what a fireman would wear on-duty, his clothing was singed and burnt in certain places but that wasn't as strange as the odd headband that he wore, it looked metallic and went from the sides of his forehead around the back of his head.

The man's eyes twitched before slowly fluttering open, revealing a pair of fiery orange eyes, he sat up and looked around at his surroundings.

"Is this hell?" The man questioned to the void, his voice deep and slightly gravely, like a smoker bordering on addiction.

He looked around for a moment more before he sighed and laid back down casually with his arms behind his head. "I was expecting more fire... what a letdown." The man groaned before resting his head on one arm and manifesting a fireball between his fingers and playing with it.

Just as he was getting comfortable with what he assumed was his eternal damnation, a line started etching itself below him, he diverged his attention from the fireball on his hand and watched on with mild interest as the line grew.

It started arching before it made it clear that it was drawing a circle, the man mused to himself about the odd geometry as more lines sprouted from the circumference of the circle inwards.

The lines crossed and connected with opposite sides of the circumference, forming a pentagram below him.

"Oh?" The man dismissed the fireball and observed as the lines began glowing orange, the heat radiating from them indicated that his previous disappointment may have been premature.

"This is more like it~" He smirked and rested his free arm behind his head and crossed his legs casually, he relaxed in the presence of his beloved heat before the glowing pentagram grew bigger than him.

Flames erupted from the pentagram's circumference as his smirk grew, the ground below him slowly crumbled as he started falling again, though his nonchalance never faded as he retained his position as he fell into the unknown below.

~Pentagram City, Outskirts~

The man spawned in the 'sky', engulfed in flames and falling to the ground below.

His toothy grin remained as he fell like a meteor, not reacting a single bit even as his form morphed.

His teeth became sharp and his headband became spiky, his skin became darker and his clothes grew a couple shades darker.
