The Witch Is Back

A turnkey opens a cell door in a jail. Melinda Warren is seen there.

In walks a male with long black hair.
Melinda looks at the man with a look of betrayal. "Matthew."
Matthew smiles. "Hello, Melinda."
"Why? Why did you betray me?" She asks.
"You got what you deserve." He says.
Melinda shakes her head. "So you've never loved me? All the passion, all the heat?"
Matthew walks around the room. "I had to make you trust me. It was the only way to share your powers."
"And so now you have them. So why would you turn me in? You know I'll burn." She says in a sad tone.
Matthew smiles. "I had to keep my secret."
"Well, you can keep your trinkets too." She says as she pulls off a locket that was around her neck and throws it at him.
"I'll find another witch to give it to." He tells her.
He opens the locket.
Melinda drops her head. "Maybe not." She pauses for a moment. "When my brother finds out, he'll kill you."
Matthew laughs. "You're brother won't know until it's too late."
"You're right. It is too late." She says. "For you."
Matthew takes out a little piece of paper and it catches on fire. He throws it on the ground.
