Y/n pov:

While me & Colby were cleaning up the flour I started to think back on why Sam was so protective of me, especially around boys or men.

Flashback

"DAD GET OFF OF HER" Sam screamed, begging our dad to stop punching me. All I did was come home 5 minutes late, literally 5 minutes. Why was that such a crime, my bus was late! Sam grabbed our dad & started punching him, I couldn't move. I wanted to grab Sam & just run away, but I couldn't stand, move, anything.

The cops came & dragged Sam off of our dad, telling him to calm down. Sam walked over to me & laid me in his lap, holding me as tight as he could without hurting me. " I-I'm sorry Sam" I said about to pass out. "It's not your fault n/n, I love you" He said hugging me ," I-I love youu..." I said passing out

"Y/n!! Y/n!!! Y/n!!"

"Y/n!!" I heard Colby's voice yelling for me shaking me.
"Yeah?" I asked wondering if something happened
"You okay? You just zoned out & started crying" he asked
"Um yeah, where's Sam?" I asked kinda begging for my brother, besides him only Colby & Nick know my past.
"He's in his room, you want me to go get him?"
"No I'll go" I got up & walked upstairs, knocked of Sam's door
"Yeah?" Sam asked
"C-can I come in? I need you!" I said, starting to cry again
Sam opened the door & hugged me," you okay n/n?"
"N-noo" I said while crying

Sam pov:

While I was putting my hoodie on I heard a knock on my door," Yeah?" I heard sniffling," C-can I come in? I need you" I heard y/n crying. I opened the door & immediately hugged her," you okay n/n?" I swear if the boys did anything to her ," N-noo" y/n answered my question.
"Did the guys do something to you? I swear if they did I'll-" "Noo! They didn't do anything." Y/n said cutting me off," I had another flashback, they keep coming back to me!" She added. "What was this one about?" I asked " About why you're so protective of me. Ever since dad beat me that night you've never trusted me with boys. I realized why now." She added again
" I'm sorry about being protective of you it's just ever since that night, I just never want you to get hurt like that again. You don't deserve to ever be hurt like that" I said hoping she'd understand. I feel her smile into my hoodie & hug me tighter ," I love you Sam, I'm actually thankful for you being protective over me, even if that is being a little too protective." She says giggling towards the end, I smile & start laughing too," You're mean you know that?" I said pushes her away jokingly " nuh uh, your the meanie" she said pushing me back then running downstairs, I run down following her while laughing," imma catch you" I say as she gets into the corner & hides behind Matt, I laugh while pretending to walk away

Y/n pov:
I hear Sam's footsteps walk away," is he gone?" I whisper to Matt ," yeah" he whispers back & I get out from behind him. ," Gotcha" Sam says while grabbing me & picking me up into a hug ," awe man" I say while trying to frown but can't since it's hilarious.
When Sam puts me down Colby walks over & puts his hand on my shoulder," you okay n/n" I smile & nod," yeah, I just needed my brother" I say while looking back at Sam & him smiling.

He loves it when I say I need him or he helped me. ," do you guys want to go to the park & stuff?" I ask knowing it'd be nice today " YASSS BITCHHHHH" Nick yells while walking in the room," stop calling me a bitch *2 second break* bitch" I say back to Nick & we all burst out laughing. " How do y'all feel about going to the park?" I ask making sure it's okay with the rest of the boys " I'm down" both Colby & Chris say ," bet" Sam says " sure" Matt says. "Okay! Sounds good, let me go change" I walk upstairs to my room & change into black jean shorts, a crop top & my fav black converse.
