We immediately go to the hospital as his hands won't stop bleeding.

I few minutes later, the doctor came out and told us that Louie was fine, but he almost lost a lot of blood.

After he got some rest, we left the hospital and dropped him off at his house.

Before I left his house, he asked me if I could meet him tomorrow at the park because he felt guilty that we didn't get to swim in the sea.

I told him "Of course, I can meet you tomorrow, so I got to go now, take care and bye" He said, "Bye, be careful".

Next day

We finally got to meet at the park, we just talked and ate some food.

Later on, he looked like he wanted to say something to me but it looked like he was too scared to tell me.

"Why do you look like that? Is there something you want to tell me?" I asked him.

"Um, actually I want to tell you something that I've always wanted to tell you, it's just you know I'm afraid and too shy to tell you." He said.

"Oh come on, is it serious? You can tell me everything, don't be afraid, look it's just me." I said while trying to reassure him.

"Ok, I like you. No, I love you. You don't have to love me or like me back. I just want to admit it to you before it's too late." He said.

I pretend to look a little bit shocked because I don't want him to know that I already know that he likes me....or loves me.

"I'm happy to hear that, knowing someone likes me or loves me for me, but you know I'm not ready for any relationships right now. But thank you." I said to him.

He nods at me while smiling.

I told him goodbye and I'll see him tomorrow, he said goodbye to me too. He was smiling but you know deep down he is hurt.

When I got back home, I decided to make a letter and put it in a box with a padlock.

Without hesitation, I got to his house to gave him the box.

"Oh hi, Giselle, how are you." He said to me while smiling as he usually does.

"Hi Louie, I just want to give you this box."

"Oh okay, but why is there a padlock?"

"If I asked you to keep a promise, will you?"

"Of course, I will, but what is this?" He asked while he was confused.

"If you love me, you will not open that box until I give you the key. I'm sorry, I know this is confusing but please promise me that you will not open-"

"Yes, I promise, and I will never break that promise." He said, not letting me finish.

"Goodbye Louie, I'll see you soon."

"Why are you saying that as if I'm not going to see you again?"

"You will find out soon, goodbye Louie." I said trying not to make emotion.

I left while Louie was begging me not to.
