~Lynxie/Lindsay's pov~

The pj masks... the pj who?I hold my lynx onesie infront of me, whilst standing infront of the mirror. Nope. It's not me. Connor was right, I can't be a pj mask. Before I put the onesie away, I hear a knock on the door. "Yeah? Who is it?" I ask. Not even three seconds later, I can hear a voice- It's Connor's. "Lindsay! Please please PLEASE open the door!" He begged. "Not right now, I'm not in the mood." I respond, with annoyance in my tone. "Please, just hear me out... sis." He pleaded. Deep down I knew I couldn't say no, so, I opened the door. "Fine, but hurry it up."

Connor then sits his fat ass on my bed. Great, now my sheets are ruined. "Listen, we have to talk about what happened last night." Connor explains. "Well? Go on." I respond. Connor then has the nerve to apologise to me "I... I'm sorry." "Sorry doesn't fix anything." I reply, bitterly. "Look... I know that. But please, don't quit. You're an amazing pj mask." He says, his tone filled with sorrow. "Don't try to sugar-coat it! You know I'm shit at this whole superhero stuff. I wasn't cut out for it!" I yell. He then opens his mouth to say something "You know that's not-" But I cut him off- "Don't bother."

"You know what?! Fine!" He yelled, clearly losing his temper. "..." I was silent. "YOU WANNA END EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF ONE FUCKING ARGUMENT, THAT'S FINE WITH ME!" He exclaimed. Actually, it was more than one argument; we have been fighting for a while now. Before I could say anything, he spat out two words. "Fuck you." He then slams my door, almost breaking it. It was a good thing our parents weren't home to hear this crap.

Let's go back to last night- where the argument happened. We were on patrol, and Romeo, that mad scientist- He had a plan that was terrible, but in a good way? For him, atleast. And on that mission, I was so busy, being mad at Connor, as he always trying to one up me. I couldn't focus when fighting Romeo, so he got away. The rest of my team were trying to stop us from fighting.

"Romeo got away!" Gekko yelped. "Oh, that's just great." Catboy replies, in a sarcastic way. "Stop it! This wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you two!" Said Owlette, she was definitely done with this bullshit. "Yeah, are you guys heroes or toddlers?" Gekko added. Quite ironic, he was the childish one. "Lynxie. Now that you're part of the group, missions have been... harder" Catboy says. "No it hasn't? Why would you say that?" Owlette interjected. "Owlette, not now. She needs to hear this." Catboy shot back. "So... you think I'm a nuisance?" I asked, with a tone of hurt in my voice. "No! Never!" Gekko replies. "It seems like you do." I respond. "Catboy doesn't know what he's saying, Lynxie. Please don't listen to hi-." Said Owlette, trying to reassure me. "No. Please don't sugar-coat the truth. I'll quit." I interrupted. "WHAT? YOU CANT JUS-" "No." I say, cutting off catboy. "You yourself thought of me as a nuisance, I do not want to be a nuisance to your beloved team, so I quit."

And that was it. They tried to talk me out of it, but I just left. From that night on, I was no longer a pj mask.

Forward to about three months later, I'm doing better now. Everytime Amaya, Connor, and Greg tried to talk to me about the pj masks, I often cut them off, or ignore them. I kept my pajamas hidden though.

~Catboy/Connor's pov~

Ring, ring! Ring ring! My alarm went off. I just slapped it and went back to sleep. I went back to sleep for "five more minutes." After those five minutes, I got notifications and 72 missed calls from Amaya and Greg. I Checked the time on my phone to see its 8:20 AM. Shit. CLASS STARTS IN TEN MINUTES! Well that's just great. Guess I have to use super cat speed, even though I'm just regular Connor, not Catboy... heh. Mom and Dad aren't even home either, when they find out I was late, let's just say things won't go well. After brushing my teeth, getting my clothes ready, I ate an apple for breakfast. Even Lindsay's left. Did she not even try to wake me up? Oh well. I went to school and bolted into the classroom, and the whole class stared at me.

"You're late." Miss Thatcher grunted. I know that, you stupid bitch. "See me after class." She added. I nodded and sat down in my seat. I got disapproving looks from my girlfriend, great. Suddenly, miss Thatcher said something that caught my attention. "We have a new student today, please treat him with respect." The boy was dark skinned, dressed in blue and white, and he was in a wheelchair. The boy introduced himself. "Hi! I'm Ivan." He then went to talk about how his hobbies and what he liked. The kid seemed pretty smart. "Great Ivan, you can sit..." Miss Thatcher didn't know where to sit him. Technically, he's already sat though. I spoke up. "There's a space next to me." The hag nodded and told Ivan to sit next to me. After what felt like forever, class finally ended. "Hey Ivan!" I called out. "Yeah?" He replied. "You seem like a cool guy, wanna hang out?" I offer. "Sure." He responds. So, I made a new friend. This is just the beginning.

After ages, I finally updated this book. Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for Chapter two.
