When hearts collide

A new chapter of life

Luna and Sydney arrive at the college dorms, thankfully they have ended up in the same dorm room. They walk up to the room to check it out before unloading all their things.

Luna steps into the room, "Well this is where we will spend most of our school life."

Sydney stops next to her with a weary sigh, "Yeah, I'm so nervous for this school year. Like we are in a whole new place and don't know anyone."

Luna turns around, grabbing Sydney's hand and looking into her eyes reassuringly, "Sydney... it's going to be ok. We will have each other during all of this."

Sydney weakly smiles as she continues to look into Luna's eyes, "I know but it's still scary to think about."

Luna pulls Sydney into a tight reassuring hug. They slowly pull away with small smiles, they are so caught up in the moment that they don't realize how close their faces are. Suddenly Troy walks in, and the two snap back to reality and quickly pull apart.

Troy leans against the door frame speaking in a mocking tone, "Sorry, did I walk into something? I will leave if you need me to"

Syndey rolls her eyes with a small giggle, "Oh shut up, are you done unpacking your things?"

Troy nods his head, "Yup, I came to check up on you guys and see if you needed help but I guess you don't"

Luna grabs Sydney's waist pulling her close and holding up her free arm as if she is flexing her muscles, "We don't need a man's help, we are independent women"

Sydney slightly blushes from the sudden action, "Yeah, we are good for now but I'll text you if we need any help."

Troy chuckles at the two, "Alright, I'll be in my dorm if you need me." With that Troy leaves the dorm leaving the two alone again.

Sydney steps away clapping her hands together, "Right! let's go get our things"

The two have fully completed unpacking their things. Sydney is lying across her bed with her feet dangling off and Luna is finishing hanging her clothes.

Once she is finished, Luna walks over to Sydney going in between her legs, and looking down at her with a cheeky smile, "What should we do now huh? Have a little fun~"

Sydney immediately matches her energy. She wraps her arms around Luna's neck giggling making a funny seductive face 😏, "Oh yea for sure~"

Luna starts uncontrollably laughing, she falls next to Sydney on the bed, "God, you are so unserious. But that's why I love you so much"

Sydney rolls over on her side so she is facing Luna, she has a fake offended expression, "I am the most serious person you have ever met, thank you very much!"

Luna playfully rolls her eyes, "Yeah and I'm Albert Einstein~"

Sydney also rolls her eyes, sitting up with a deep sigh, "I can't believe we are in college. It just feels so surreal."

Luna nods in agreement. She sits up as well, "I know right? It feels like just yesterday we were running on the playground, carefree with our biggest worry being who was going to get the swings first."

Sydney giggles remembering how they use to play and have fun, "yea, I sure do miss those times"

Luna smiles warmly at the memories, "It was a lot simpler then. We didn't have to worry about things like classes or homework. Just having fun and enjoying life."

Sydney glances at the clock and immediately shoots up, "Crap it's already 12 o'clock. We need to go to bed, classes start in the morning"

Luna's eyes widen as she looks at the clock as well, "Crap, you're right. We have an 8 a.m. class tomorrow." She groans getting up from Sydney's bed and flopping onto her bed.

Sydney quickly changes into her pjs and lays down as well, "Good night Luna"

Luna yawns and gets comfortable under the covers. "Good night, Syd." She says before closing her eyes.
