"yeah so he totally texted me just to tease me, what a dick!" brianna exclaimed, clinging onto nicos arm as they walked through the halls.

brianna had her hair up in a ponytail today, it was usually down so people were staring at the change, everyone noticed the smallest things about brianna that were different.

"it sounds like he likes you to me" nico huffed, in a mood everyone was staring at his girlfriend.

"your hair is pissing me off brianna"

"my hair?" she touched her ponytail with her freehand, suddenly feeling insecure. "yeah, take it out" and brianna done so, her hair bounced from her shoulders.

"good, also don't talk to that jaden boy, he's trouble" brianna nodded her head at his 'orders' giving nico a dirty look as he shuffled his arm away from her.

"your here at the library, what even is it you need to do?" nico asked, he didn't get a reply. "brianna fucking answer me" he was getting angsty as his body language tensed.

brianna decided to walk off and leave him alone, she couldn't deal with his bullshit.

jaden was already waiting, his hair was brown today, he was reading 'lord of the rings' that was what the project was about.

brianna slumped into her seat, practically throwing her bag on the floor as she dug her head into her arms on the desk.

"woah what's wrong with you?" jaden asked in a cocky tone, but changed when he realised she wasnt really okay.

"my boyfriend, home, everything" her speech was muffled into her hoodies sleeve as jaden sighed, putting his fist under his chin and the book flat on the table.

"you've got the cheer squad, and me" he chuckled at the last part, which made brianna laugh too.

"yeah, my enemy" brianna scoffed as jaden dramatically put his hand over his heart and winced, "ow, that hurt" brianna help back her grin, he was trying to make her feel better.

"okay whatever, also why change your hair?" she was looking up now, her face slightly intrigued. jaden was slightly intimidated by her staring, he scruffed his hair before he spoke.

"baseball playoffs, i needed a change anyway" he said, so full of himself. "yeah, you really did" brianna made a snarky comment smirking as jaden kicked her leg jokingly under the table.

"uh.. what's going on with the boyfriend? jealous?" jaden tried not to act too interested but deep down he was.

"he told me to take my hair out today, he has been really controlling lately" brianna sighed, thinking about her boyfriend and how she could change it.

"what a dickhead" jaden commented, brianna gave him the death glare. "sorry sorry," he put his hands up in defeat. "it's just that, you shouldn't treat people like that, like property" he added.

brianna nodded slowly in approval, jaden was lost for words but tried to break the ice. "so, home? what's up with your dad being my coach?" he tapped the table with his finger, smirking.

"i love my dad, i can imagine you like him too?" brianna squints her eyes, titling her her to the side in curiosity.

"coach lima is the best, im his favourite" brianna scoffed at jaden, rolling her eyes. "sure, sure" she played with her fingers and picked her nails.
