Chapter 1: Initialize. User- Hayashida Masashi

This "reincarnation" business sucks!

Coming from one of the most renowned scientific and medical minds in my old life into the body of a baby made my first few years awfffuuulll! I had to learn things that I already had before, and it was such a drag I had to try to do theoretical questions to just keep my mind in some sort of interest. I vividly recall the first scientific projects that I got free reign on was just inventing or what I should be saying recreating something that was called the COMP in my world, just used that same name when I presented it and people were so blown away by the thing and its insane capacities as a technological device, that days after my project went public instead of going to school I would go to corporate meetings to see which company would get the second COMP prototype to remake it, with my supervision. They will never get the actual way to make this thing as its functions alone would make the company with the instructions able to become an instant superpower.

Many people who had met me during that time of negotiating the instructions of COMP would try to rattle me; which amounted to intimidating blackmail, and many other twisted things that would not be direct actions to my person or Kiyomi. I especially remember the meeting I had with the only Chinese company I even let meet with me, due to what occurred during that meeting. I remember it was in a restaurant, that had many multi-national agencies watching as a manner for peace if I were to die with my secrets it would have been the start of the annihilation of whatever nation did it. I vividly remember why this all happened in the first place, the Chinese Company's full exclusivity to anything tied to the COMP, otherwise I wouldn't own the thing anymore. I practically stood up and left the meeting after that, for that statement is unacceptable to me. From there all I heard was a click, and then the whole restaurant was turned into a shooting range. By the time I was on the road back to Brussels, I had heard that half the agents that were there were dead due to the massive amounts of bullets and friendly fire that was there.

It would be the efforts of one Raiden Ryoma and the ME Corporation that would soon get my permission to make the COMP 'prototype' not knowing I had made more than three different iterations attempting to improve the design that I had recalled with the technology being at a higher level than my old dead world, through time and the fact that no one outside of my twin sister gave a shit about my existence, that allowed the two of us to sneak all of this advancements, the fame, and the money that came alongside of it past his fatass until I was able to file for a separation order due to the fact he stood mentally unfit to be the guardian of children. (And the fact it is proven, that I cannot only sustain the both of us but do it easily) and that we have the skills necessary to make sure we live normal lives. However, the courts did make us have a guardian who would not live with us but would come to check in every once in a while.

The guardian was a foreign girl called Alina Hawkins, who says she comes from a situation where it was even worse before she came to Japan. Supposedly from London, she is someone who had her father and mother practically treat her as a doormat until she awoke to something, and the next thing she knew, both parents were dead with her tossed into the back of a constable's cruiser. I doubted her words as she barely knew a lick of Japanese for someone who supposedly has lived here for about 12 years now. Kiyomi shared these thoughts as well, that Alina seemed too suspicious to be the guardian that the courts assigned, so the two of us went into the nearest library to research the incident that Alina gave us.

Took us about a whole day to do so, with me giving the librarian an amount close to five times his yearly salary to allow us access to the databases of this and worldwide libraries at any moment in time. I also showed my ID to prove that I was the man who was the reason the COMP is becoming more and more of an everyday and prevalent item in the world sphere, and they allowed me to own the library building which we accepted as long as we were allowed to make renovations to the building. In return, they wanted to be able to show a replica of the most primitive COMP that I had made, which was easy to give them as I had one from the time I went to the corporations and showed them the idea of the COMP.
