[Yuyan's POV]

It was broad daylight when I was heading back to headquarters for my first hashira meeting. The master had an urgent matter to discuss, so he arranged for the meeting to be held earlier.

It was just about two months ago that I became a hashira, right after defeating a member of the twelve kizuki by myself.

I already introduced myself to most of the hashiras, and I've gotten close with Mitsuri and Muichiro. We eat together when we have time, and I already gave most of them bracelets, except for Rengoku-san... We're not particularly on the best of terms.

I haven't met the Water Pillar yet, so I don't know what he looks like, but I'll be able to introduce myself soon. I'm always excited to make new friends.

Ubuyashiki-sama was like a father to me. 

The way he spoke to me the first time we met was so soothing. He knew exactly what you wanted to hear. He was honest, but still made sure his words were harmless.

Since the time he visited me, I have sworn to protect him, the Demon Slayer Corps, and the happiness of those innocent lives from the demons, and Muzan Kibutsuji.

I've sworn my whole life to finding this man, this demon, this devil, to avenge my parents and send him to hell.

It wasn't long before I entered the grounds of headquarters, and spotted my fellow companions. Mitsuri noticed me immediately, and skipped over to greet me.

"Yanyan! Long time no see! How are you doing?" she asked enthusiastically.

"I'm doing great Mitsuri-chan, I see you're as energetic as ever." I replied with smile, enjoying her lively presence.

As I walked in to greet the other members, I noticed an unfamiliar boy about my age with black hair, and a strange looking haori. I assumed he was the water pillar, so I walked over to him, gently tapping him on the shoulder.

"Excuse me? I don't think we've met before, I didn't get the chance to come greet you before this meeting. I'm Yuyan, the new hashira."

"Tomioka Giyu." he responded with a stoic voice.

Maybe he doesn't like socializing...

Tomioka-san turned around, and I could see his face now. He had blue eyes and a stern expression. It made me think he might be annoyed...

"You-"

The boy's eyes widened a bit, but then he went back to his old face. What's the deal with him? 

I tilted my head to the side, giving him a puzzled look, and without saying anything, he walked away... I guess he's a loner...
