"How are you feeling, sweetheart?" Viserys asked, seeing his daughter nervously messing with her necklace.

"I feel great. I love things like this," Marcella said with a small smile before looking down again as he walked closer.

"Well, this feast is a big one to celebrate the union and marriage between you and Theo, which is a union between House Targaryen and House Tyrell," he commented, though his words did nothing but make her more nervous. The reality of her marriage hit her the moment she got into the dress.

"What is wrong, Marcella?" he asked, noticing that she was nervous.

"Nothing; it just seemed to get more real that by tomorrow night I will be a married woman. It all is just frightening."

"Well, I can understand that when I was marrying your mother, I was a basket of nerves. I was so afraid I would fall off the stairs or forget my vows, which I did slightly after seeing her so beautiful in her white and gold dress," Viserys said, smiling as he thought of his wedding day to young people spitting oaths they truly didn't understand, but he wouldn't change it for the world. It gave him the love of his life.

Marcella smiled as she thought of her mother and what she would have looked like on her wedding day.

"This is for you," he said after a moment, handing her a box and two letters.

"What is it?" She whispered, taking it as he shrugged.

"I don't know. Your mother told me that she wished to give this to you when you marry, and since she is not here, I thought I would give it to you."

"Thank you, Kepas," she whispered, already tearing up and making him chuckle.

"Of course I will give you a moment alone before we make our way to the throne room," he said, kissing her head before leaving her chambers and leaving her alone.

Marcella sat down with shaky hands as she looked at the box she held before she set it down and grabbed the first letter.

Marcella, my sweet girl, if you are reading this, it means I am gone. I am so proud of you, my girl. I truly am. I am proud of the kind and wonderful girl who helps those who are unfortunate and always tries to understand people.

You are truly a blessing from the gods, a blessing your father and I were given. I want you to always know that no matter what, I will always be there watching over you.

I will get to watch you be the mother you always wanted to be. And I know you are nervous, but don't be. You will be a wonderful mother, as you are a wonderful daughter who I love with everything I have. No matter how hard things get, never give up.

You may be a kind, sweet girl, but you are a dragon. Never forget that, and show those who dare to put out your fire. You are destined for great things. I know I love you, Marcella.

Scincerly, Aemma, your mother, your Muna

Marcella sobbed as she read the letter from her mother. Visery's heart broke when he heard his little girl cry, but he did nothing because he knew she needed to let it out.

With shaky hands, she grabbed the second letter, unfolding it and taking a deep breath before she began to read the letter.

If you are reading this one, it means you are getting married, and well, I know your father, and I am sure he did not listen to me when I told him to marry you to Daemon.

The first paragraph made her laugh through a sob. Her mother knew.

I know of the love and care you share; it is as if you share a bond as your dragons do. I know Daemon is impulsive and stubborn, but I also know he is the best man for you. I hope he is the man you are marrying, and if not, just know the gods have a plan for you two. You must have patience, my sweet girl.
