"What did you, Ron, and Harry do all summer?" Mingi asked Hermione. She had just taken the potion and was looking between them all with an odd smile on her face. Jongho understood what caused it all too well and grimaced. Hopefully he wouldn't have to take that ever again.

"Well," Hermione started with enthusiasm. "We all wanted to get back into things together, and of course Harry and Ginny are thinking about getting married. So we gathered at the Weasley house and spent a lot of the time studying old things. It's amazing what can slip after just a few years. I kept telling Ron that if we didn't put in at least that much effort, then we might as well not even enroll. Thankfully he stopped arguing after that and took the studying seriously." She took a breath and rolled her eyes dramatically, but the odd grin on her face stayed in tact.

"And then any moment we weren't studying was spent thinking about the wedding. Ginny isn't sure if they should wait until school is over, or just get it over with during one of the breaks. They're thinking about a Christmas wedding."

Wooyoung and Seonghwa shared a look the longer that Hermione kept spilling details, while Yeosang blushed deeper and deeper. Hongjoong had busied himself with inspecting some of the books, and Yunho kept pacing nearby. San had sat down and had his arms crossed. He kept flicking his eyes between Hermione and Yeosang, but it was impossible to tell what he was thinking of.

Mingi interrupted Hermione's monologue as it was getting a little too personal. "And what did you do once you arrived at platform 9 & 3/4?"

"Oh. We sent our luggage on its way, said goodbye to Mrs Weasley, and boarded the train. I sat with Ron, Harry, and Ginny. So many people popped by to say hi that it would take forever to list them all."

"That's alright - no need," Mingi said gently. "What did you do on the train?"

"Oh, we didn't get much time to ourselves – so many people did a lot more than just say hi. There was maybe only about 30 minutes we had to ourselves, just the four of us. But when we did get time alone, we talked about the strange letter. We all received the same one, and all at the same time. We thought that the lion's mane hint means someone in Gryffindor. But then Harry shared a story with us about how he got to choose between Slytherin and Gryffindor – the hat wanted to put him in both places." She paused, and both Mingi and Yeosang shifted their feet awkwardly. Jongho noticed it and tilted his head to the side. Had they been through something similar?

Come to think of it: the hat had something similar with him at the affiliation sorting. He could have made a choice, because the hat wasn't quite sure. It liked all options for him. If this was a common experience, then it could make it a lot harder to track down any would-be-Gryffindor's.

"Anyways," Hermione continued, "Harry obviously chose Gryffindor in the end. But it made me wonder if there was perhaps someone who should have been in Gryffindor but wasn't. And that means the clue could refer to anyone, which isn't very helpful. So all we can do is watch for any strange movements this year and be vigilant. Especially because of the tri-wizard tournament. And, well, we all know how that ended up last time, so it would make sense that something strange could go on again even though they say they've made special arrangements this time."

"Yes, we do," San said absentmindedly. No doubt he was already miles ahead with a bunch of different theories.

"What did you do once you arrived at the platform?" Mingi said, interrupting what Hermione had been about to say.

"Oh. Well, that was a terrible time this evening," she said with odd enthusiasm. Jongho winced, remembering how he had shared details in the same way. The potion seemed to make everything look like a dazzling sunset.
