cryptic pregnancy - part two (requested)

"I'll be right back," Jeongin promised and kissed your head softly before grabbing his phone and stepping out of the room.

He was overwhelmed with so much love and happiness right now that he couldn't help but let the tears of joy fall from his eyes.

Your lives are forever changed now that you have a baby together and as much as he doesn't want to leave your side for even a second, he knew he needed to call the boys to let them know about your little surprise.

He cleared his throat in hopes that the boys wouldn't have known he'd been crying because he wanted it to be a surprise for them too but if they knew he'd been crying, they'd be terrified.

Tapping on Chan's name, he pressed his phone against his ear and listened to it ring only once before Chan picked up.

"Jeongin? How's Y/N? We're all worried about her." Chan spoke.

"Am I on speaker?"

"You are," Seungmin confirmed.

"Okay, good. You all need to get to the hospital right now."

"What? Why? Is Y/N okay?" Felix asked.

"Guys, I need you all here right now. I don't want to say much. Once you get here, you'll find out what's going on. But please hurry." Jeongin spoke and he could hear the boys getting ready to go immediately.

"We're on our way!" Minho promised.

"Okay. See you soon."

Jeongin ended the call and though he felt bad because he knew the boys must be concerned, he really wanted to surprise them with his daughter because he just knows they're going to be shocked but so over the moon.

Jeongin told the nurse that the boys were coming and to send them back when they got here while he stayed in the room with you and the baby.

The thought of being away from you two for even a moment was just not an option right now.

He's so in love and so incredibly overjoyed, right with you and your bundle of joy is where he needs to be now and forever.

"They should be here any minute now," Jeongin said as she glanced at the time on his phone.

"They're going to be so surprised." You smiled. "Almost as much as we were."

"Yeah, but they're going to be so happy. It's going to be a surprise they'll never get over." Jeongin smiled and kissed you softly.

But when he heard footsteps hurrying down the hall, he knew they were here and he pulled away before you passed the baby over to him.

The door flew open a few seconds later.

"Jeongin, what's going on?" Hyunjin asked as they all stepped into the room.

"Y/N, are you okay? We've been so worried about you." Jisung said.

Jeongin had his back to them but slowly turned around to let the boys see your little girl in his arms.

"Oh my god..." Changbin spoke quietly.

"Is that a baby?" Jisung gasped. "That's your baby?"

"It is." You confirmed.

"Guys, meet your niece." Jeongin proudly said to them before they hurried to his side.

"Oh, she's so cute!" Felix said as he reached out to brush his fingers across her tiny hand, the one that wasn't wrapped around her dad's, anyway.

"She looks just like you, Jeongin," Hyunjin grinned.

"Wait, so this whole time Y/N was in labor? You never knew you were pregnant?" Changbin asked.

"I didn't have any symptoms, really. I did have morning sickness but remember that was the same time that Seungmin had the flu and since I hang out with you guys all the time, I figured I caught it too. I had no idea it was morning sickness. Other than that, I didn't have any symptoms at all."

"That's crazy!" Minho said. "Well, you two got a beautiful little girl out of it though, so that's good."

"Yeah." You agreed and then smiled brightly as you watched the boys coo over your' and Jeongin's daughter.

"She's her father's twin," Chan said.

"I know. She's got all of his features." You grinned. "She's perfect."

"I'm sorry I worried you guys but I wanted it to be a surprise," Jeongin said.

"Oh, we were surprised! You pulled it off, congratulations." Jisung spoke, making everyone laugh.

"No one was as surprised as us though. We had no time to prepare." Jeongin said. "But it's all good. Because now that you're uncles, you'll set up a little nursery for your niece, right? While Y/N recovers and we wait to be discharged."

The boys were so excited about the idea that they immediately agreed.

"Of course we will," Felix assured as he looked at the baby. "Anything for our niece."

"Do you want to hold her?" Jeongin asked them and Hyunjin was the first to ask if he could her.

"Can I go first?"

"Of course."

Jeongin gently placed his daughter into Hyunjin's arms and the boys just stared at her in adoration.

"You're so beautiful," Chan whispered to her.

"I can't believe you two are parents. We're uncles!" Seungmin excitedly said.

"You are going to be so spoiled," Minho said.

"Your uncles love you so much, little angel. Yes, we do." Felix smiled.

Jeongin returned to your side and you both watched the boys gush over your little girl.

"She's going to be the most adored baby ever." You whispered to him.

"She is already." He spoke before kissing your head. "I knew they'd love her. I'm so happy."

You looked back at the boys and noticed that Hyunjin had passed her over to Chan.

"Hello there." Chan smiled. "Happy birthday to you and welcome to the family."

Jeongin put his head on yours as you contentedly watched them, knowing that your daughter was already more loved than words could ever express.
