After the gruelling journey, the sight of Zara laughing with Kagami made every hardship worthwhile. The cool breeze whispered through her hair, catching the sunlight and casting a radiant glow around her. The surprise and joy that blossomed on her face upon seeing me ignited a warmth in my chest, a moment I vowed to cherish forever.

"Zara," I murmured, unable to conjure up any other words but her name. This was the only place I wanted to be—by her side; seeing her, hearing her voice, touching her. She didn't cry often, but she was crying for me. That alone gave me the strength to rush to her side.

I wanted more of her. I had waited and been quiet about my feelings for too long. I didn't want to hold back anymore, not now that I could finally feel her. I didn't care how things were before she left home. She wanted to save her people, and I wanted whatever she wanted, to be whatever she needed. I had travelled for weeks with no real proof that it was her energy I felt, but here she was standing in front of me, leaning into my touch. Even without words, she was telling me she missed me too.

Now would be the perfect time to use my words, to share my feelings, but all that came out was, "Zara..." My voice was a blend of determination and affection, but no other words formed.

"Sekai, how are you here?" she asked, her voice trembling with emotion.

If I couldn't speak, I could show her. I stopped thinking and let my desires drive me. Standing so close to her, her face in my hands, I saw the gold flecks in her eyes regain their colour. There wasn't a man or divinity in any realm or world that could resist this kind of allure, not for as long as I had managed.

So I kissed her, as softly as I could. The cold burning sensation from her lips on mine only stirred me more. I tilted her head to deepen the kiss. I never imagined being consumed by a kiss, but I fell deeper, revealing the surface of the passion that surged within me—the longing that ravaged me when she was away. And the best part, she showed me hers.

I started to regain some of my senses when our lips broke apart. Lifting her hand to my forehead, I greeted her respectfully as we would in Nuraqiya. It was only right to honour the princess, especially after kissing her without permission. I couldn't offer much of an explanation for my behaviour, so I just said the first honest thing that came to mind, "Zara...I waited." Almost 22 millennia, but I was the only one counting.

After a brief exchange with everyone, I was brought up to speed on the matters in Saharabi. Important as it was, I didn't travel all this way to deal with a bunch of greedy men. There was so much going on outside of Saharabi, and they were completely oblivious to it. But it made me wonder if it might all be connected.

"Sekai, while Adil and Siya go to find Jafar, shall we teach Nia about true divine magic?" Zara asked.

Ever so polite. Zara always spoke suggestively even though she wasn't giving you a choice. She was actually telling me that I had to teach Nia divine magic and do it properly this time.

"Your wish is my command, Hime," I said, smiling brightly at my princess. Of course, she rolled her eyes in response. Neither sister liked to be referred to as princess

"If I may, can I quickly address Adil and Siya–"

"It's alright if I call you Siya as well," I added, asking Siyani, and he nodded in approval.

We stepped out to the training ground behind the house. I understood their need to be prepared on all fronts, but I had another idea to tackle the issue. So, I relayed it to both of them before they left for Goshen. For now, I would teach Nia while they went looking for the other two participants. We were all in agreement.

I called out for the princesses to join me outside so we could begin while Adil and Siya headed out.

"Firstly, Nia, I do apologize for not teaching you about magic the right way. I was blinded by my longing for love and prepped you for a bigger spell without your knowledge. I sincerely extend my apologies for the deception on my part. I may have followed my orders too fervently."
