CHAPTER 1

Magnus hums has he finishes his song. Izzy comes in. "Are you almost done your song, so I can finally know what it is about?" She asks not sounding very impressed. Magnus plays a few notes then writes them down and finishes the lyrics. "Done." He says. Simon, Clary and Jace comes in. "It's not very good." He says has Izzy reads it. "It's cute." She says. The others takes turns reading it. "You should sing it tonight." Simon says. Magnus looks down and then back up. "You really think so?" He asks.

"I know so." Clary says. Magnus bites his bottom lip. "It's stupid." He says. "That is what you say about all your songs, but they turn out to be a big hit at the bar. Hell, you are the most popular." Simon says. "Sadly." Jace mutters making everybody laugh. "Okay, I'll do it." Magnus says. Everybody smiles, excited to see Alec's reaction. "He will be there, like he did promise that he will be there every single time." Izzy says. Magnus sighs. What did he just get himself into?

Magnus walks into the bar holding his guitar case. Raphael grins. "What are you singing tonight?" He asks and leans against the counter. "It's a new song that I have been working hard on." Magnus says. "Can't wait to hear it." Says a voice behind him. Magnus turns around to see Alec and Andrew. "Yeah, listen close." He says and Izzy walks over to them. "It's time." She says and Magnus grins. "Wish me luck." Magnus says and walks off. "Good Luck!" Alec shouts making Magnus laughs.

"Hello ladies and gentlemen! How is everybody tonight?" Magnus asks and the audience cheers. He laughs and sets his guitar up. "Well tonight is a new song, so I worked hard on it. This is for someone very close to me." He says and brings the microphone closer to him. Magnus starts playing and he takes a deep breath. He sees Alec smiles and he let's the words flow out of him.

During the song Alec smiles and asks Andrew to dance with him. The others join in on the dancing. The crowd goes wild. Magnus smiles and looks at Alec, only to see Alec on his knees in front of Andrew. The crowd goes quiet. "Andrew, I am so glad that Magnus wrote this song because you are my best friend. I love you, will you be my boyfriend?" Alec asks and Andrew gasps and covers his mouth.
