after you knocked the door, kuroo and bokuto opened it and let you and osamu into the house. you greeted the two boys at the door, followed by atsumu and kenma. what felt off to you was that keiji and suna were both seated on the floor and were on their phones. you turned to osamu and atsumu and asked.

"is it me or do i sense a lot of
tension in the room"

atsumu chuckled nervously as osamu replied

miya osamu
"no i don't sense it, i think
you're hallucinating"

you scoffed

"wow okay!"

you walked away from the twins and plopped yourself on the sofa. that was when akaashi looked up to you and smiled at you.

akaashi keiji
"hey pretty girl, how was
your day"

"mmm it was so tiring, osamu
took a nap during our entrepreneurship
class today and was snoring so loud the
lecturer almost sent him out!"

miya osamu
"shut up! i got bored watching
you play fall guys during lecture"

akaashi laughed at osamu's reply. he then got up and sat by your feet on the sofa. suna saw this and scoffed, walking away to the kitchen. everyone noticed this except you and akaashi, who were deep in conversation.

a few minutes later, suna returned to the living room carrying a bowl of peaches.

"hey guys, my sister sent over some
peaches for me and i thought i
would share them with you guys, have
some!! y/n try one"

everyone gathered in the living room. akaashi cleared his throat

akaashi keiji
"well, y/n isn't a big fan of
peaches"

suna rintarou
"why not? everyone loves peaches.
and your nickname is literally peach"

you were hesitant to try one

suna rintarou
"cmon they don't bite"

you looked around the room at your friends and they all looked at you nervously. they knew you HATED eating peaches, since you associated them with bad memories. however, you felt bad if you declined suna's offer, so you agreed to take a little bite.

your friend group watched you take a bite of the peach, while akaashi sat beside you with his hand on your thigh. to your surprise, it wasn't as bad.

"mmm! it's nice.."

you said, forcing a smile. suna smiled back at you as he took a seat on the other side of you. as you were swallowing the peach, you failed to notice akaashi's piercing glare towards suna.

everyone else in the room could sense the tension between the two guys sitting beside you. however, the moment soon passed and everyone went back to doing their own thing.
