"You!!!!??"

"Yes it's me baby." He said smirking.
"Kai... What are you doing here?" Jennie yelled at him. She was shocked. She was afraid.
"Well, its my friend's birthday. Of course I will be here." He said shrugging.
"I need to go now." Jennie said turning around to leave but Kai caught her by her wrist.
"Let me go" She yelled.
"I've met you after a long time. I just wanted to talk to you." He said. Jennie just stood silent looking down at her feet.
"How are you? Are you married?" Kai asked without knowing about Taehyung and Jennie's marriage.
"I don't wanna talk to you. Let me go." Jennie said struggling to free from his right grip on her wrist.
"Not so soon babygirl.." Kai said leaning in and Jennie started walking backwards.
She was trembling in fear.

"Leave her you Bastard!!" Someone yelled. Kai turned backwards to see the owner of the sound.
"Oh Tae. How are you?" Kai said making a sarcastic happy face, still not leaving his grip on her hand.
"I said leave her." Tae screamed anger clearly shown in his eyes.
"Why should I listen to you. Who is she to you? She's min.. Ahhh" Before Kai could complete his words Taehyung punched on his face. He fell to the ground.
"Don't dare to tell that again. She is mine. Just mine. My everything. Don't ever dare to come near her. " Taehyung warned Kai.

At that time most of their friends came outside hearing their screams.
"What happened Jennie?" Jisoo asked hugging Jennie who was crying.
"Kai??" Lisa was shocked seeing him standing with bleeding lips.
"Why do you came again. Just to destroy her happiness. You'll never get her you motherfucker!!" Rosé screamed at Kai.
"You bitch!!" Kai tried to slap Rosé but Jimin caught his hand.
"Don't you dare to harm anyone of us." Jimin warned him.
"Kai.. Stop it. Now you go. I'll come now." Baekhyun said.
"This game isn't finished yet Mr. Kim Taehyung and Ms. Jennie Kim. I will get what I wish." Kai threatened them.
"Do whatever you want. I don't care cause you're not going to win. And one more thing, she is not Ms. Jennie Kim. She is Mrs. Kim Taehyung." Taehyung said emphasizing the word Mrs. Kim Taehyung.
He smirked when he saw Kai shocked.
"I'll see you soon..." Kai said raising his one eyebrow "...Let the game begun, Kim Taehyung." Kai whispered the last sentence on Taehyung's ear.
"Whatever.." Taehyung shrugged off his threat.
Soon he left from there.

Jennie ran into Taehyung's arms and he opened it wide for her. He hugged her tightly not ready for losing her. She cried in his arms. Laying her head on his chest, she felt protected and safe in his arms. He kissed the top of her head hugging her tightly.

"Taehyung and Jennie are you okay?" Jungkook asked approaching near them.
"Yes Kook." Taehyung said comforting him when he saw his bestfriend worried.
"Jennie.. You okay? What did he do to you?" Lisa asked being angry as if she is ready to break Kai's bones.
"Jen.. Baby are you alright?" Taehyung softly asked her. She just nodded in response.

"Jennie and Taehyung, I'm really sorry for what happened tonight. Its my fault. I shouldn't have invited him." Baekhyun apologized feeling guilty
"Its not your fault, hyung. You don't need to apologize." Taehyung said giving a little smile.
"Tae.. I wanna go home." Jennie whispered quietly still hugging him.
"Ok then let's go." Taehyung whispered to back.
"Hyung, I think we should leave now. Jennie needs some rest." Taehyung said to Baekhyun.
"Ok. See you both. Take care both of you." Baekhyun said hiding them goodbye.
"Tae.. Do we need to come over. Will Jen be okay?" Jimin asked being worried for his bestfriends.
"No thanks Chim. She'll be alright." Taehyung said politely rejecting his kindness.
"We will come tomorrow Tae." Rosé said
"Okay. Then see y'all tomorrow." Taehyung and Jennie left from there.

Jennie was quite all along the journey. She just sat staring out of the window. Taehyung let her be. He decided to talk to her once they reached their home comfortably.

Jennie went inside as they reached their home. Taehyung came in putting the car key on the holder beside the front door. Jennie went to the bathroom to have a shower. Taehyung changed his dress into a comfortable one.

After sometime Jennie came out wearing her cute pyjamas. Her eyes were swollen from crying.

"You okay Jennie?" Taehyung asked guiding her to the couch in their bedroom.
"Hmm" She hummed in response.
"Tell me what's bothering you Jen?" Taehyung asked concerned for her.
She quickly hugged him lying her head on his chest. Closing her eyes, she let the tears flow.
"I'm scared Tae." She said in between her sobs.
"Why baby?" Taehyung asked placing kisses on her top of her head.
"I'm afraid of Kai. He will harm me." Jennie said tightening her hug on him.
"Hhhhmm" Taehyung sighed before talking "..He will not do anything to you Jen. He came here just for the party and will go back. You don't have to be afraid. Even if he will do something, I will protect you. You're my life Jennie..I will protect you from anything or anyone. You don't have to be worried baby." He said cupping her face and wiped her tears with his thumb.

His words were not fake. He really meant it. He was ready to protect Jennie from all danger, even if he has to risk his life. He wants to protect her not because she was weak, but because she was important. She was his lifeline..

"I love you so much Tae." Jennie said hugging him tightly.
"I love you too my baby.. I always crave for your love, your touches, your kisses. Everything about you makes me crazy. I have to admit that I want you today, tomorrow, the rest of my life and our next life." He said planting a deep kiss on her.

Jennie was beyond happy to hear his sweet words. He has been always sweet to her, which never fails to make her heart warm. She felt safe and protected when she's with him.

"Thank you." Jennie said breaking the hug and facing him.
"Why?" Taehyung asked smiling.
"For always loving and protecting me. I don't know what will I do without you Tae. Seriously." Jennie said. Taehyung's lips curved into a wide smile hearing her words.
"I love you so much Jen.. I can't let you be harmed." He said cupping her face. She smiled.
Taehyung made Jennie sit on his lap and wrapped his hands around her waist.
"Now happy?" He asked while she nodded cutely.

His words were indeed true. She knew it. She knows he loves her so much and he knows she loves him so much. They trust each other more than anything. She was his heartbeat. He was her lifeline. They were not ready to loose each other.

"Let's sleep now. I'm sleepy." Jennie said standing up from his lap. He also stand up from the couch and carried her in bridal style.
"Ahhh.." Jennie squealed in his unexpected action.
"Tae.. put me down" She said wrapping her hands around his neck to stop from falling.
Taehyung smirked at her and went towards the bed. He placed her on the bed and lay down next to her, balancing his head on his right hand and his left hand around her waist.
They were staring at each other. And Taehyung took the initiative to lean in. He cupped her face with one hand and both of them closed their eyes. Slowly their lips touched. He penetrated into her lips. There were sucking and biting each other's lips. Their kiss turned into a make-out session.

Both of them slept unaware of the coming DANGER...
