Nobita's POV:I was walking to classroom with Dekisugi-kun. We were walking silently. It becomes awkward. I asked him, “Hey... Why do you like to study?... Don't you feel sleepy?” I asked, tilting my head slightly, confused.

“What kind of question is that? I like to study because it's calming.” He said.

“Calming? In what way?” I asked genuinely confused.

“You wouldn't understand that.” He shrug his head.

“I guess I won't. This seem complicated” I said giggling. He looked at me, smiled a little.

While we were walking, the new guy comes in front of us and mocks, “Ooh~ Look who's here~”

“What do you even want?” Dekisugi-kun asked.

Ugh... Such a brat.

“Why so mean~? Maybe are you just jealous at how popular I am...” He mocked again.

“Popular? You are just so disgusting.” I said, rolling my eyes. Dekisugi-kun looked at me and smiled faintly.

I could see the new guy controlling his temper. Akira came behind the guy and said, “Who are you to say that he is disgusting?”

I never got this annoyed.

I looked at Dekisugi-kun. He glanced at me back. The Kenji guy smirks and said “Hah, you guys seem like couples.” he mocks. Me and Dekisugi-kun looked at each other. Akira, who was standing aside and supporting him, was disgusted cuz she was homophobic. She quickly walks away...

Dekisugi-kun cleared his throat. “What?! We are not.” He said that.

I was standing near him,embarrassed.

“Oh, yeah? Why is that cute boy near you blushing?” His smirk turns into a grin.

“I'm just embarrassed-- that's all!!” I said, blushing a lot.

Dekisugi-kun was staring at me. I can't tell what he is thinking.

Dekisugi's POV: Did he just call him cute? Why do I feel a strange sense of jealousy? Why is he blushing now? Is it his natural personality to blush so much? I quickly said,

“Why do you even think like that, mister?” I asked him.

“Why do I ask like that, huh? You guys seem pretty close~” He said in a sarcastic way.

He must be joking!! Nobita always thought me as a rival.

“We are just friends!!” Nobita said.

Just friends? That caught me off-guard. He thought me as a friend? This is confusing me.

Timeskip:after school.

After school, I always go to the library to get some books from there. I could see the new guy and some girls around him.

Such a pest...

Does he even know that this is a library?? He is ruining the peace here.  Nobita came in to the library and all their attention shifts to him. He stands there clearly awkward and comes to me, shyly.

“Hidetoshi-kun... Sensei called you...”

“What are you doing here at this time? You should be at home?...” I asked confused...

“Well... You see... Sensei called the both of us...” He said. God, he was such a soft person.

“I'm coming behind. You can go now.” I said, keeping some books in my bag.
