Kakashi pov
It's been some years I heard about my sensei's death and kushina's death...
And heard about the kyubi being sealed within their son's body...
I heard the boy survived...
I was relieved that atleast the boy didn't die...
Minato sensei gave me the mission to protect the child inside Kushina when she got pregnant...
I watched day and night...
Remembering the past a few tears fell to the ground... I was coming back from my mission... I was feeling sad that I could've adopted him... But later thought I'm too dangerous and young to take care of him and I casually just stay depressed nowadays so, I may make the child sad and unwanted just like others... I was lost in my thoughts when I heard a crowd shouting and throwing things at a child...
I rushed to see a boy who looked a lot like my sensei...
He was crying and running away...
I saw the villagers throw glass, tomatoes, even knives at him....
I was really angry at this point when I heard some of them say-
‘ You evil monster shouldn't stay here around us ’
‘ This kid only a trouble nothing else’
‘ You should die’
‘ Fourth hokage should've killed you with that nine tailed demon fox’
I understood that was Kushina and Minato sensei's son I Ran after him to find him sitting on top of the statue of minato sensei's hair... I jumped and sat beside him saying hello
He was shocked but later said hello
I said ‘ You are so cute what's your name? I'm kakashi'
The boy said‘ Naruto Uzumaki nice to meet you'
‘ Aren't you gonna go home? It's pretty late.. ' I said
Naruto replied saying ‘ You know your late too and I never met my parents... *a small drop tears appeared at the corner of his eyes*.. *sniff* and the *sniff* villagers call me monsters and beat me throw things at me... ’
Before I could say anything they heard a sound...

They looked up and saw fire works...
They both stares at the sky being amused.. They were enjoying the view..
Kakashi felt comfortable around Naruto knowing he is not the only one suffering... He did spent some time with his father but Naruto... He is all alone.. It hurt him knowing a child is suffering from so much pain in such a young age
Just then they also swa some lanterns flying above...
Kakashi got an idea and he said Naruto to wait for him.. He went to a nearby market and bought two lanterns... He gave Naruto one.. Kakashi said‘ Let's write the things we want in life ok? '
Naruto asked‘Do you always wear that mask? '
Kakshi replied‘ Yes, ..my mother gave this to me before she passed away... But I can remove it if you want to’
Naruto eagerly told him to open it...
Kakashi did as Naruto said..
They wrote their wishes Kakshi saw Naruto write down that he wants to become hokage kakshi suddenly remembered obito..
After finishing Naruto saw what Kakashi wrote he saw him write that he wants someone to love...
They both launched their lanterns...
But at the Naruto broke into tears... Kakashi assured him that he is not a monster.. Later Kakashi found Naruto leaning on him so he softly asked Naruto where he lived Naruto answered it before dozing off... Kakshi carried Naruto and laid him in the bed and looked around and saw mess every where.. He sighed and cleaned it off and left a message for Naruto..
After some time he went to the hokage and reported about his mission and went home to rest.
