It was dead at night, slight fog was all around, unknown soft noises from animals, The moon shining through..it was..peaceful. In a way.

A girl was walking throughout the grass, crouching down to pluck out beautiful flowers, putting it all on her other hand. Slowly getting in the way of a forest.

The girl slowly reached out for the flower on the grass, before someone on the same location called her out.

— ”H-hey!, You!..w-what..are you doing here? It's..dangerous, here. Especially at night..” The stranger spoke out, hearing it, The girl turned her head on the noise

To see a boy, who looks just a bit older than her, they were leaning their body on the tree trunk, while sitting down.

Out of curiosity, The girl replied.

“..You’re the one who is in the forest first, not me.” She said, her voice sounding more like a blunt one, hesitant to walk towards them yet.

“Ah- well..I'm older. Probably more than you, besides I can defend myself, but- that's none of your business. A-answer my question, will you?..Why are you here..seriously?” The boy responded, repeating the same question from his previous.

“Just came around here to pick out flowers..you want one..?” She asked, grabbing one of the flowers out of her other hand, offering to hand it out to the boy.

“I-..i don't..need it, but..t-thank..you?..what am I gonna do with this..?” The boy asked once again, grabbing the flower out of her hand gently, before looking at it, kind of confused and skeptical. Is it a poisonous flower or something?

“Eat it.” The girl replied, rather too straightforward.

The boy almost choked from his own spit at just hearing that, he widened his eyes, looking at her like she got possessed by something.

“Wha- no! I w-will not do that! That's..weird..!” He said hesitantly, glancing back at the flower before her again.

“But..isn't that what..people do?..normally?” She asked out of pure curiosity, tilting her head at the sudden thought of..weird eating flowers?

“Yeah..! That's..weird. For me, at least..they are harming the flower and..the environment! People who eat those for fun are..ruthless and just pure dum-dums..!” The boy believed, thinking of it just made him shook his head off.

“..why so rude to those people, Are you..holding a grudge on them..or something?” She questioned again, still looking at the boy, while..still also collecting the flowers on the grass.

“Ehhn…just plain weird. I don't get those..people, who eat flowers for fun.” He answered quietly, leaning his back more at the tree trunk, putting down the flower beside him. Watching her pluck out the flowers.

The girl just responded with a questionable one, eating one of the flowers, in front of the boy. Chewing on it like it's a feast.

He was a little bit surprised at revelation, before just chuckling slightly, his face contorted to an amused one.

“Y-you're..strange. Y'know that?” He slightly stammered out, watching her eat the flower with a genuine small smile.

“Mhm.” She just simply hum a bit at that, still chewing down the flower, it was..sweet. To see, and the flowers taste great, strangely great.

“So..if you m-mind..what's..your name..? Only..say it if you're..comfortable enough,I wouldn't want to make you upset or something-...” The boy questioned, slowly starting to get comfortable around her presence.

“..Keiko, Keiko Kobayashi..you?” She answered just as straightforward as before, returning the question back to him.

“Kaiza..Kaiza Konashi. Nice..to meet you, Keiko.” Kaiza soon answered, letting out a small grin on his expression, once He figured out they have the same ‘K’ on names.

“Nice to meet you too, ..want some more flowers-?” Keiko said, completely eating the flower as someone called her out..once more.

“Hey..Keiko! Get back here, it's dinner now.” The nurse said, waiting for her to respond back.

“...Well, You should get going now, wouldn't want to get you into some trouble, and..nah, I think I'll pass another flower, one is enough, thank you for offering again though,” Kaiza spoke to her, waving a bye.

“Yea..i should. Bye for now..” Her voice soon faint, as she turned her head, and walked away from the forest.

When Keiko left,

Kaiza just sighed, now hugging his knees, wiping his welling tears earlier before Keiko came. He was glad she didn't notice it.

He then looked up at sky, the noises comfort him..as always whenever he came here.

It was a strange meeting, but that also..managed to bring a smile to his face.

Now, he just comfort his own self, trying to forget the memories he have back then..maybe that'll work.

…

No it didn't. Well..at least he attempted to.

Kaiza soon started to walk away from the forest as soon as he saw that the sun was shining through. He didn't know he was just staring at the ground for that long.

Well..looks like both got back on there ‘home’ it went fine, the meeting..it was..okay.
