It may seem a bit strange to ask this as I begin the preface, but have you ever seriously considered the following question:
Can you define freedom?
You know, these days, many groups love to talk about issues like how to give people freedom. They try to impart what they believe to be the right ideas to society. And unless someone seriously considers another idea on the matter, they won't change their own.
I've always wondered if what these groups are doing is right.
After all, there's no criteria to know which one is the "good" one when there's always another idea that contradicts their own.
So, NO.
But what they're doing isn't wrong either. Just like no one can define freedom correctly, they can't define it incorrectly either.
Everyone has their own understanding of freedom.
While one person may define freedom as speaking, another may define it as not speaking. One may define it as learning, while another may define it as not learning.
