AFTER SURGERY

Mrs.Na lies on bed looking fragile but happy. Her husband sits beside her, holding her hand. Jisung and jaemin stands nearby with jeno.

(jisung) mom, you had us worried sick!

(Mrs. Na) I'm alright now, honey. Thanks to dr. Kim magic touch.
(Smile's weakly)

(Jaemin) yeah, doyoung hyung is incredible. But seriously mom, how did this CAS thing comes up all of sudden?

(Mrs. Na) it was a... just nagging cough at first. The Doctor said it was a bronchitis, but it never really went away.

(Mr. Na) So did they do more tests?

Places a comforting hand on her shoulder.

(Mrs.Na nods) That's when they found the CAS. Apparently, it can develop over time.

(Jeno) we are glad that they caught it early, though.

Squeeze jaemin shoulder.

(Mrs.Na) Me too, they said with treatment, I can live a long and normal life.

(Jisung) that was amazing news.

(Jaemin) Mom you know that jisung was crying when you leave for friends house.

(Jisung pout) hyungg..... you don't have to tell this.

(Jaemin) So what.

Everyone laugh at jisung and jaemin lil argument.

AT DOYOUNG OFFICE

Doyoung dressed in scrubs, stands by the window of his office.

Renjun also walk in room with his coat and food.

(Renjun) hey hyung, how's our favorite surgeon doing?

(Doyoung) just admiring the view. Feels good knowing that Mrs. Na surgery was successful.

(Renjun) I bet, she was worried beforehand, wasn't she?

(Doyoung) anyone could be, But she came through it like a champ.

(Renjun smiles) thanks to you hyung. You did an amazing job.

(Doyoung chuckles) it was a team effort. And nurses were fantastic.

(Renjun nod) True. But you were the one with the scalp in your hand. Still can't belive you aced such a complex procedure.

(Doyoung) I've been practicing.
(Rubs his neck)

(Renjun) practicing or perfecting?
(Reises his eyebrows playfully)

(Doyoung grins) maybe a bit of both.

They shared a laugh. Renjun pops up a container of food.

(Renjun) come on, hyung. You must be starving. You've been on your feet all day.

(Doyoung) hmm..thanks Renjun you are a lifesaver.

(Renjun grins) yeah yeah...

They sit down on chair beside the table. As they eat, they chat about other patients and upcoming surgeries.Then renjun Notice Doyoung's unusual  behavior.

(Renjun) what happened hyung. You can tell me anything.

(Doyoung) There's a lot going right now. Renjun its kind of overwhelming.

(Renjun) do you want to talk about it.

Doyoung take a deep breath and lowers his voice.

(Doyoung) Actually, yeah... there's a something i want to tell you.

(Renjun) hmm you can tell me anything hyung.

(Doyoung) I'm going to divorce jaehyun today.

Renjun eyes widen in shocked.

(Renjun) hyung iam sorry to hear that. But why.

(Doyoung teary eyes) It's a tough decision but he cheat on me. Renjuna...

(Renjun) I understand. But that does not mean it has to be easy.

(Doyoung) thanks Renjun..

Doyoung takes a deep breath.

(Renjun) what is it.

Doyoung looks around furtively, then lean even close to renjun.

(Doyoung) I'm going to be a dad.

Renjun's surprise gives way to a wide smile.

(Renjun) wow hyung... thats amazing.

Doyoung's face softens a little.

(Doyoung) it is, it happen so fast.

Doyoung looks overwhelmed by the news but also flicked a hope.

(Doyoung) I guess it is, But i dont know how I'll manage.

(Renjun) it will be challenging but i am with you. You got the people who care about you, you are not alone.

(Doyoung) Thanks Renjun. I really needed to hear that.

(Jisung) yeah hyung... in this fighting. I'm also with you.

(Renjun) hear that hyung our little hamster is with us.

(Doyoung) yeah...my lil brothers come and hug me.

They both hug him and stayed there for minutes.
