he rolled it up but before he could send it away, Boulder jumped on his back
Boulder: Hey Spike!
Spike: *laugh* hey buddy!
Boulder: so I was looking around for a DNA test but Sapphire found me...
Spike: what did she say? you told her, right?
Boulder: she denied it...
Spike: do you two even know if you were supposed to have a sibling?
Boulder: yeah, it's a long story

he sat on the ground and patted the spot next to him and Boulder sat down
Boulder: mom said that after our dad died, she laid 3 eggs, when a threat came, she left the dragon lands to raise her eggs in a safer, better enviroment. but she got lost in a terrible snow storm. she said she used all her fire to keep us warm then Sapphire came out. *chuckle* she said that Sapphire helped me hatch and cuddled me to keep me safe from the cold. but the third egg never hatched. then a white pony with wings and a horn spotted us. mom had to leave the third egg behind, then she took me and Saph away from the white pony. about 4 years ago, mom got sick and left us, ever since, Sapphire was never the same.
Spike: that's why she doesn't want friends?
Boulder: she's too afraid to lose me, I'm all she has. maybe a DNA test isn't a good idea, there's no way your our brother, that egg died...
Spike: um, what day was it when your mom left the egg?
