Chapter 3: a fake hostage situation

Three days earlier..

"I'm sorry, you want me to do what?" Seungcheol raised his brow as if he heard the most ridiculous thing. And to be honest, he kind of did.

Seokmin wanted his members to lock him up in their shared house for a week, with someone who everyone  knows he "despises". Only Seungcheol knows the truth, which is why Seokmin was pleading on the leaders couch one afternoon.

"Hyung, I know it sounds crazy, but I think this will work" Seokmin smiled as he looked at Seungcheol, causing him to let out a long sigh. He knew how much Seokmin liked Joshua, honestly everyone could tell, well everyone except Joshua. He remembered the night Seokmin confessed his feelings, talking non-stop about how attractive Joshua was and how he was
"a walking sex statue" as Seokmin claimed. Since that night Seungcheol tried very hard to support his younger members feelings, but the constant arguments between the two 'love-birds' was starting to annoy the shit out of him. So the idea of the two of them being locked away for a week sounded quite appealing.

"Okay, I'll do it. I'll have to talk to the other members first though" Seokmin squealed, nodding his head up and down.

Seungcheol sighed once more, he hoped this was a good idea.

"Okay wait, so let me get this straight. You want to be alone," Seokmin nodded, " with Joshua", Seokmin nodded once more , " for an entire week". Seokmin smiled as the others stared at him dumbfounded.

"Okay, but... why?" Seungkwan eyed him as if he was speaking another language, and from his point of view it honestly seemed like one.

Seokmin sighed as he sat down on the couch, surrounded by the other members , excluding one.

"Okay guys I'm going to be honest. I've kinda had a crush on Joshua hyung for years" Seokmin spoke fast as the other members looked at him with bored expressions.

"Was that suppose to be a secret" Jun spoke up after a minute of silence, followed by the other members breaking into laughter.

"Yeah dude, no offense but it was kinda obvious" Mingyu smirked at Seokmin who rolled his eyes, cheeks flushed from embarrassment.

"No it's not"

"Oh it most definetly is. You literally worship the ground he walks on. Everyone could tell, well everyone except Joshua". Soon-young laughed as Seokmin huffed once more.

"Okay I get it! Now, can you do this for me" he whined as the others slowly stopped laughing. Jeonghan stood up and walked in front of Seokmin, kneeling down in front of him.

"Of course Minnie! We'll help you out, plus we all could use a little vacation" he smiled at Seokmin who smiled back.

"Okay so that settles it" Seungcheol clapped his hands together and stood off the wall he was leaning on. The members all stood up and left the room, leaving Seungcheol and Seokmin alone.

"Listen Seokmin , I know you really like Joshua. But remember he can get irritated easily-"

"Hyung trust me, I'm going to be the best version of myself I can be. I really like him, and I know that if I give him the chance to really know me, then he'll like me back just as much" Seokmin breathed out as Seungcheol nodded. He patted the younger on his back and turned around , leaving the younger to his thoughts.

4:30 am the next day...

"Okay so we've stalked up the cabinets with a bunch of food and alcohol, so you won't starve to death"

Seokmin listened to Jeonghan as he went on and on about all the things they bought.
He couldn't help but a feel a little excited. He was going to spend an entire week with Joshua, alone. He knew the other would be very mad at the situation, but he hoped that the older would soon relax and enjoy his company.
