• during eclipses, he does transform obviously but it's like 10x worse because he transforms into the werewolf only to change right back like 10 or so minutes later and literally gives his body ABSOLUTELY NO BREAKS! it hurts him a lot more when that happens and he has to try and book it to the shack to avoid changing and attacking people ( obviously after wolfsbane became a thing. Wasn't as bad but still )
• after Sirius died; he really wasn't the same. He was more jittery, jumpy, paranoid, anxious and angry. He tried his best to cool himself down to make sure Harry was alright and anyone else was alright but he, himself was not okay at all
• he was the one who was originally supposed to get rid of the horcux that regulus found but regulus and him fought and well in the end regulus won. Remus still feels huge amounts of guilt for it
• he got the cane he uses into adulthood around part way through 7th year after a full moon. Everything felt more painful and it became a struggle to stand without his hips hurting so madam pomfrey gave him the cane
• mcgonagall offered to let Remus stay with her after his friends died and Sirius went to Azkaban for those 12 years. He hated being such a bother to her but he appreciated her generosity in letting him stay since he couldn't work because of what he was
• his first full moon turning into a werewolf. He heavily injured his mother because she didn't want to leave him alone in pain. She was bed ridden in a hospital until she eventually died due to her injuries that couldn't be healed correctly and Remus still has guilt about it.
• while his father was still alive of course; he wasn't disappointed or ashamed for what he was because he knew it wasn't his fault. Remus knows deep down that his father cannot look at him the same way at all,especially since remus's mother died. He actually anytime he was home; he'd be locked in his room with a spell to keep him there. Which is why for most holidays he spent it at Hogwarts instead, he dreaded going home. James & his parents offered to let Remus stay as well like they did with Sirius but Remus declined the offer, he did the same when Peter offered to let him stay at his place
• James and Remus have definitely kissed once or twice during a game like spin the bottle or 7 minutes in heaven. But doesn't mean anything to either obviously. Though they both have joked about it and flirted before for the shits and giggles
• he's tried changing the password to the Gryffindor common room before when annoyed with certain students or his friends. Just so he could have privacy and peace and quiet but mcgonagall made him change it back
