𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐞: Hi! MJ here! I'm a Filipina-Irish nurse currently residing in the Philippines. I was born in Bangkok, Thailand - which might be surprising given that my parents are not Thai citizens nor have they lived there. Well, except my dad - he works there.
Anyways! I've lived, for most of my life, in a small island in the southern area of the Philippines. I went to a Catholic private school for my basic education, and another Catholic private university (which is a branch of a Jesuit run school that is pretty popular) where I graduated with a Bachellor's in Nursing last July 2023. I also got my license that same year! 🎉
𝐇𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬: My hobbies are baking, which I started during the pandemic; cooking; reading; writing novels and other stories; going on food trips; and napping. I'd love to be able to travel too someday. But for now I am content to be stuck at home with a good book.
𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬: I do have a few pet peeves that really annoy me. Such as loud chewing, long lines, unnecessarily loud people in public places, strangers asking or assuming things about me, among many others. I'd list them all, but then we'd be stuck here forever.
I strongly dislike bitter gourds (though I will eat them with egg and in a salad occasionally), cockroaches (the bane of my existence), maggots (eugh *shivers*), snakes, annoying people, being sweaty, among others that I can't seem to remember. Funny that.
And these are things I love: desserts, food, food trips, books, scented candles, vanilla and brown sugar scents, shea butter (I LOVE THE SMELL), soft and comfy pillows and blankets, iced coffee, MANGO FLOAT (no it is not a dessert, it is LIFE), anime, manhwas/manhuas/mangas, music, decorating a house, and being alone.
𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦𝐬: I am a proud Potterhead - a Slytherin at heart! I am also a part of the LOTR fandom (Legolas has had my heart since I was a toddler!).
𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: I like to think I am quiet. But honestly, I am very loud and talkative when in the right environment and when I vibe with people. A lot of people assume that I'm mean due to my RBF, but I'm not. I'm pretty friendly, but I do enjoy my space.
