Can't believe I am spending my Friday evening in the school library. Not by choice, Aizawa assigned us a project with a partner about special government cases and how as heroes, are able to solve them
Lucky for me, Aizawa assigned partners. And it was of course, the hot-headed Bakugou
Why am I always getting paired up with Bakugou?
Can't say I'm complaining, ever since the sports festival, we've gotten pretty close. He won't admit it but I think he considers me a friend now.
Not just bakugou, I've became friends with a few people in our class. Like Kirishima and Kaminari, and now Midoriya.
I'd like to say that I'm closer to Kiri and Kaminari, since they are also good friends with Mina and we even sit together at lunch. I'm just surprised Bakugou tolerates them, especially me
He argues the most with me, which can sometimes be annoying to my other friends since me and Bakugou are equally stubborn, we just go at it when we argue
Hopefully we get something done today though
"Are you listening to me? Quit spacing out!"
He took me out of my trance as he was tapping his pencil to one of the questions on my paper
"Wha? Oh! Sorry." I pull the paper closer to me to reread the question he was pointing at
He sighed heavily, " we're never gonna get this work done."
I looked up, " hey! Just be patient with me. Not all of us are as smart as you."
I couldn't lie about Bakugou being academically smart, it surprises me. I'm not sure why, I didn't think he'd be so serious about his grades but he is, and he's not bad when it comes to school work
"I didn't say you weren't. I'm just telling you to get it together. Since you're so big on team work, I'm letting you make the decisions this time."
The last part really left me speechless, was he being considerate?
"wow, that was really nice of you Bakugou."
"Tch. Don't get it twisted, I just don't feel like arguing with you about things today."
I deadpanned, "just when I had my hopes up."
I looked down at the notification at my phone, realizing what it said I quickly picked it up
"Hey. Can you not look at your phone? I'm trying to get out of here sooner."
I ignored what he said and formed a big smile on my face
"Why are you cheesing?" He asked
I looked up, my eyes bright as I said, " the movie theater is playing Friday the 13th series tomorrow."
Bakugou furrowed, " and?"
"It's the best horror series ever! I can't believe they are doing a marathon at the movies for it!" I say excitedly
"Tch. Of course you would like that lame shit. Movies like that piss me off."
"What?" I say astonished, " I thought you would like horror movies? And why do they piss you off?"
He rolls his eyes, " I don't, and never have. The protagonist is always making the dumbest decisions possible, it's like they want to be murdered or something."
I raise a brow, " oh? So you think you could survive Friday the 13th?"
"Not just that one, but all of em. Those horror punks are weak compared to me."
"What about a zombie apocalypse? Could you survive that?"
"Easy. I'll blast those bastards back to their grave."
"Chucky?"
"Are you serious? Why would I be scared over a dumb doll? That's probably the easiest one to survive."
"Jigsaw?"
"Again with the dolls."
"Michael myers?"
"Tch. That's gotta be a joke."
"Frankenstein?"
"He wouldn't even make it past without falling apart."
"Fine. Penny wise? No one can survive penny wise."
"That dumb clown. I'm telling you I can survive any shitty horror movie you name."
I laugh, " I think you're just scared to watch them, that's why you don't like them."
"What? No I'm not -
"It's the only logical explanation." I shrugged
I could see Bakugou was starting to get annoyed, I'm not sure why I loved to tease him, it was just so entertaining to me.
As a matter of fact, I had to admit that I enjoyed spending time with Bakugou. Even if half of our conversations is just us arguing about the dumbest things.
I find it kind of cute that he keeps up with my arguments, wait did I just say he's cute? Ew gross what am I even thinking about
"What time is that shit movie coming on?"
My eyes widened, " uhm, around 7pm, why?"
"If it'll make you shut up, I'll take you to go see that dumb movie."
A movie? With Bakugou? Together? Why did that seem so scary yet so intriguing
"What a lame excuse to ask me out on a date Bakugou, I thought you were more bolder than that?" I teased making Bakugou get even more aggravated
"Shut up! I'm just gonna prove to you how stupid they make them seem. The old hag could probably survive those things."
"Bakugou.. don't call your mom that."
I've only ever seen Bakugou's mom once, and that was during the sports festival. I've never actually met her but she looks a lot like Bakugou, now I know where he gets his looks from

"I can call her whatever I want."
"No that's mean."
"Whatever, so are we going or not?" He asked
I nodded, " yes. Should we just meet up at the movies?"
"Nah, just come to my house and we can go from there. The movies are closer anyway"
Why was he being so nonchalant about me going to his house? Where his parents will be at?
"Okay. Your house it is."
There was no way I could believe I'm actually going to the movies with Bakugou
