27) Days Together

The first light of dawn filtered through the curtains of their bedroom, casting a warm, golden glow over the room.

Jungkook stirred slightly, feeling the soft touch of lips on his cheek.

He opened his eyes to find Jimin hovering over him a playful smile on his face and a light giggle escaping his lips.

"Good morning my king" Jimin whispered his eyes sparkling with affection.

Jungkook smiled sleepily reaching up to brush a stray lock of hair from Jimin's forehead.

"Good morning my love" he replied, his voice still husky with sleep.
"What a wonderful way to wake up"

Jimin blushed slightly, his giggle growing a bit louder.
"I couldn't resist. You looked so peaceful"

Jungkook pulled Jimin down into his arms hugging him tightly.
"I always sleep better with you by my side" he murmured pressing a kiss to Jimin's forehead.

Jimin snuggled into Jungkook's chest feeling the steady beat of his heart.

"How are you feeling your heat has came down right are you feeling any discomfort?" Jungkook asked caressing his waist.

"Yes my heat has gone and I feel good so good" Jimin said softly his fingers tracing patterns on Jungkook's skin.

"After making your husband fuck you continuously 3 days you are finally feeling good hmm" Jungkook teased looking down at Jimin with a smirk.

Jimin's cheeks flushed red and he slapped on Jungkook's chest with his hand.

"You are so mean" Jimin mumbled hiding his face in Jungkook's chest.

Jungkook laughed his hand gently stroking Jimin's back and tightened his embrace his eyes closing in contentment.

Jungkook then pick him up in bridal style and went to the bathroom to have a fresh and romantic bath.

And the rest of the morning passed in a blissful haze of kisses and laughter.

Evening

In the grandeur of the royal court, Alpha Jungkook stood tall and resolute, his presence commanding the attention of all who gathered.

Soomin and her mother Hyejin knelt before the throne their heads bowed in submission.

With a steely gaze Jungkook surveyed the scene before him

His heart burned with righteous anger at the sight of those who had dared to threaten the safety of his beloved omega.

"Soomin" Jungkook's voice rang out, cutting through the hushed whispers that filled the air.

"Stand and face me"

With trembling hands, Soomin rose to her feet her eyes filled with fear as she met Jungkook's unwavering gaze.

Beside her Hyejin remained silent her expression betraying no hint of remorse for their actions.

"Your Majesty" Soomin began, her voice shaking with trepidation.
"I...I beg for your forgiveness. It was all a misunderstanding I swear"

But Jungkook's expression remained impassive, his eyes cold as he spoke with authority.

"Misunderstanding? Giving drugs to the queen of Jeon Kingdom taking him away when he is sick and bringing other alpha to hurt my omega this all is a misunderstanding"

"Do you take this kingdom and me for a fool" Jungkook growled his voice echoing through the whole court everyone bowed their heads in fear.

"There is only one punishment for you both and that is death" he declared, his voice firm and unwavering.

With a nod to his guards, Jungkook signaled for Soomin and Hyejin to be escorted away their fates sealed by their betrayal.

"No no your majesty please forgive us" they both pleaded but was answered with silence.

"Anyone anyone who tries to hurt my omega, the queen of Jeon Kingdom will be punished to death am I MAKING MYSELF CLEAR" Jungkook roared his eyes dark and intimidating.

"Yes Your Majesty" they all bowed their head.

Jungkook made his way back of his bedroom.

As he entered the room Jungkook's eyes immediately sought out his beloved omega who lay sleeping peacefully amidst the soft embrace of their bed.

With a tender smile he approached Jimin his steps careful not to disturb his slumber.

Gently Jungkook brushed a stray lock of hair from Jimin's forehead his touch light and affectionate.

With a soft sigh Jungkook settled himself beside Jimin, his presence a comforting presence in the darkness of the room.

"I love my omega no one will ever try to hurt you I promise" Jungkook whispered kissing on his lips softly. Jimin cutely mumbled something in sleep and turned and hugged Jungkook.

Jungkook chuckled and kissed his forehead and wrapped his arms around Jimin pulling him close in a protective embrace.

Days turned into weeks and the bond between Jungkook and Jimin only grew stronger.

Every evening, after the demands of the court and the kingdom's affairs were done Jungkook would find himself rushing back to Jimin.

The mere thought of his omega waiting for him filled his heart with anticipation and joy.

One evening

Jungkook hurried through the corridors with a determined stride. The moment he reached their chambers he pushed the door open, his eyes immediately finding Jimin who was reading a book by the window.

Jimin looked up a radiant smile spreading across his face as he saw Jungkook.

"Alpha you're back" he said, his voice filled with happiness.

Jungkook crossed the room in a few swift strides and pulled Jimin into his arms, pressing a series of gentle kisses along his forehead, cheeks, and finally his lips.

"I couldn't stay away any longer" Jungkook murmured between kisses, his voice soft and filled with affection. "I missed you so much my love."

Jimin giggled softly, his eyes sparkling with joy as he wrapped his arms around Jungkook's neck.

"I missed you too" he whispered his voice tender. "The days feel so long without you."

Jungkook held Jimin even closer, inhaling the comforting scent of his omega.

Jungkook's kisses trailed down to Jimin's neck eliciting a soft giggles from the omega as he reveled in the warmth and security of his alpha's arms.

"How was your day?" Jimin asked softly resting his head against Jungkook's shoulder.

"Long and tedious" Jungkook replied, a hint of exhaustion in his voice.
"But being here with you makes everything better"

Jimin's fingers gently traced patterns on Jungkook's back providing comfort and reassurance.
"You're doing an amazing job, alpha. The kingdom is lucky to have you."

Jungkook smiled his heart swelling with love and pride.
"And I am the luckiest to have you Jimin" he said his voice filled with emotion.
"You are my strength, my heart, my everything."
