It has been a few weeks now and we are running out of food. We are living in the attic of an old farm house. We haven't see anyone other than us three since this began and we are all losing hope. 'What if we are the only people still alive', no we can't be.
'We should probably set off again, find somewhere with more food." I suggest, standing up with Celina following.
"I agree, I'm starving up here" Celina replied whilst picking Harvey up from the floor and following me to the ladder which lead to the exit.
We started to head out, knifes in hand, killing any dead people that had notices us. It wasn't too tricky as we were in the middle of nowhere and all the dead people were in the cities. We walked until we found a road where we took a break to have what was remaining of our food.
"What happened to everyone? " Harvey asked.
"To be honest I have no clue. I guess it was just a disease. " I reply
"Will we ever see dad again?... "
"Harvey I'm going to be honest with you, probably not. He could be anywhere right now even dead. There is like no chance well see him again. I'm sorry Harvey but we have to live with that. "
"I understand sis"
"We should carry on walking" Celine insisted.
After a few hours, we found a small house. It had three rooms. A bedroom, a bathroom and one bigger room with a kitchen and living room combined. We looked around to see any sign of food or supplies. Nothing.
'
"Maybe we should just give up" Celina suggests making sure harvey couldn't hear her.
"What do you mean 'give up'" I ask
"I mean, we should just end everything, we haven't found decent food in days and I'd rather end this now myself than turn into one of them dead people. What if we are the only people left. We can't survive like this." She explains
I nod.
"You're right"
"We only have 3 bullets. It is now or never" as Celina says that a walker makes her jump as it bangs against the window and she shoots by accident.
"Only 2 now"
"Okay harvey first, he is asleep so he won't be scared, he doesn't deserve to have to live in this world alone." Celina says.
I agree with her and she shoots harvey in the head. Tears fill my eyes as I see my little brothers body go limp but I just think about how he is in a better place and how he won't have to deal with this world.
Celina break the silence
"1 bullet left"
