"This place sucks," Adrian said as he dropped the last of Bonnie's boxes in her small dorm room.
"Well no place can be Magic House," Jake said as he adjusted a painting they'd bought for her room. Adrian and Liam moved in her things while Lena and Jake helped her set up her room. Amour said she hadn't felt well and Bonnie noticed how pale and tired she looked so she just let her stay.
"Well it's the only room I have so," Bonnie said, rolling her eyes at Adrian playfully.
"Sorry. You know you're welcome anytime," Adrian added.
The door opened and Bonnie looked over to see a short blonde girl with blue eyes that looked a lot like Caroline. Bonnie thought about her as the girl introduced herself. She was followed into the room by her parents. "I'm Kristen. This is my mom and Dad."
"Cool. I'm your roommate Bonnie. My sister is a junior so her friends and boyfriend are helping me move in," Bonnie said before she introduced them all by name.
"Awesome. So you picked your side," she said with a nod.
"Well I was here. No sense in not doing anything."
"Bonnie, why don't we go get Amour and go get some pizza?" Jake offered. Bonnie didn't really trust her roommate but she nodded.
"Yeah, that way you and your parents can have some space."
"Thank you," her roommate said sincerely. They all nodded and walked out.
"Was that weird and micro-aggressive or was that just me?" Bonnie asked once they got out of the building.
"Girl's kind of an undercover bitch," Lena said and Bonnie exhaled in relief, happy she read the situation right. Bonnie didn't go back to her room until late and just slept immediately, ignoring Kristen.
Bonnie adjusted to the first week of classes. Even though they were General Education, she still found them more interesting than high school classes. She ate by herself at the cafeteria mostly. Then on First Thursday, her roommate actually spoke with her. "Planning on going to any parties?"
"Yes, my sister, her and her friends live in this place called Magic House," she said and Kristen's eyes opened in surprise.
"I've heard about that place from a couple people. They have amazing parties."
"So I might head there."
"Well why don't you come with me to this frat guy's house party I got invited to then we'll head there right after?" Kristen offered and Bonnie couldn't think of a reason to refuse her so she agreed then began to get ready. She chose a pair of shorts ajnd a flowy top with tennis shoes since it was still hot.
Coming with Kristen was an immediate regret. They were at the guy's house and it took less than forty minutes for Kristen to announce she'd found a guy she was going to spend the night with instead. "He wants to go party hopping! You don't mind, right?" Kristen asked but didn't wait for an answer.
Bonnie went directly from the house to Magic House. She heard the music and sounds of a party as she walked up. Other people were coming in and out as well. bonnie didn't want to go find anyone so she just grabbed a drink from the punch table then found her way to a gate. There were so many people around, Bonnie's head got dizzy. As her head spun she saw a different party.
Bonnie looked around to notice a drunk Elena and a drunk Caroline. Elena had her lips all over Matt while Caroline flirted with someone Bonnie somehow knew was an ex senior. She looked down and around at herself in the moment. She was nursing a drink and no one was talking to her.
