Y/N POV:

I collapsed face first into my bed exhausted from my self healing quirk.
Clunk
I hear a dull thud from my door. Reluctantly rolling out of bed to investigate a letter fell from my mail flap.
"A letter from...," Curiously I flip it in my hands to see the the name of the sender. "U. A.!?"

Izuku POV:

"You too young man could become a hero," All Might holds out his hand.
I can't believe this
My life long idol was encouraging me!

"I believe you're worthy of inheriting my power!!"
Shock numbs my knees and a fall on them to cry. I felt so happy. I look up.
"Huh?" Didn't he say inherit? That's unheard of
"HA HA HA! What's that face for?" All Might said.
I start tilting my head stupidly.
"It's a proposal!! The real work begins here my boy... I'm asking you if you want to try accepting my power!" The yelling makes him spew a little blood.

His power? what All Might saying?
"This concerns my quirk kid," He wipes the blood. " The tabloids like to guess that it's 'super strength' or 'boost power' and I avoid the question by making jokes. Because All Might the symbol of peace has to come off as a natural born hero. But my quirk... "
I look at him curiously as he looks up to the sky.
" It was passed down to me like the Olympic torch,"
" Passed?" that was unbelievable *inserts Midoriya style muttering*
" Passed down to you? Really?!"
" Yes and now it's your turn."

Y/N POV:

Congratulations! You've been recommended to the U. A. hero course. I sent this letter as I was sure Mr. Kamui Woods hadn't notifyed you that he recommended you.

Lately everyday life was blurring together into one quick paced dully coloured painting.

My ringtone goes off. I pick up my phone.

I click answer and I hear his voice through the phone.
"Hi Y/N sorry for calling so late," I could hear his usual constant apologetic tone he uses.
"It's fine and you know it,"
"Hey if I tell you something you won't laugh will you?"
"Hey," You could hear the personified worry in my voice. "What's wrong?"
"Can we talk at my place I don't really say this over the phone," Izu what has you so concerned
"Ok give me 10 minutes,"
"See you in a bit then," He hangs up

He's never sounded so tense about something before. It's either family or hero related. But what?

Timeskip

I was sat on the All Might bed in the All Might themed room. Izu came in carrying something that smelt like.
"Caramel hot chocolate? Izu you're amazing,"
"Thanks," He flashes that innocent cinnamon roll smile and sits on the bed next to me crossing his legs.
"So you wanted to tell me something what is it?"
I sip the hot chocolate

When I glance up I see him glance down.
"You're contemplating something."
"H-huh what no that's ridiculous," He laughs nervously.
"Izu I've known you for a half a year so I get it if you don't want to tell me,"
"No it's just that it's not completely my secret..."
I get an idea.
"Ok how about we trade secrets so it's fair," I tilt my head smiling.
He looks up and I can tell he's grateful for the suggestion. I reach out and pat his head a little.
It's so soft like fur

"You can start because you wanted to tell me something first,"
"All Might offered me his quirk..."

I can't believe it...
"It's amazing right," His face lights up like it usually does when he's fanboying. "How about you?"

I take a deep breath.
"Well you see I got recommended for U. A.," I cross my legs and sit so I'm directly facing him.
His face lights up and his eyes sparkle with joy, "Y/N that's amazing who recommended you?"
"Kamui woods but I'm not sure if I should go for it..."
"You can always move in with me again if you can't afford your place," He puts his hand on top of my scarred one. "I'm sure mom will let you,"

I feel a small but noticeable smile spread on my face.

Sorry I haven't been writing on wattpad lately I've been busy drawing and revising for my year 7 exams. I'm writing in my notebook though so I'm still writing.
