I looked at the huge building in front of me ' TAN Corp. '. I entered inside and went to receptionist.

" Hi, Good Morning, yesterday I an appointment call from here ". I asked her politely with a smile.

"Oh, your name please ?" She asked me in return with putting on a professional smile.

" Jane Thomas ".

" Please wait a second ma'am ". She said before her attention turned to her laptop.

"Oh, Miss.Thomas, firstly you've to visit Mrs.James so go straight and take right and go to 62th floor Mrs. James will be there". She said with a smile

" Oh okay, Thank you so much and have a good day " I thanked her and made my way to 62th floor.

And look around to see Mrs.James and then there she's.
She looks really worried, did anything happened here??. Anyway I made my way to her.

"Excuse me Mrs.James".
I called her politely to catch her attention and she diverted her attention towards me.

And when I about to spill next word, I heard a big bang and we both flinched badly, it came from CEO office and when I looked at Mrs.James she looks twice worried and filled with panic than earlier.

Suddenly a man around 30s furiously opened the door and stormed out from the CEO office and I got a glimpse of Ms. Ives who's banged her head on desk in exhausted.

And when I looked towards Mrs. James she looks really worried about Ms. Ives. I didn't know what to do, i just stood there like a statue, I can sense that something happened here from this atmosphere but I didn't take any move to ask about that when it's my first day of work.

" Good Morning Jane, How have you been? ". She asked me with a smile after diverting her attention towards me.

Resulting of her sudden question i flinched a little bit and looked at her like I saw some ghost but she just chuckled at my reaction.

"I- I'm fine Mrs. James and How about you ? ". I stuttered

" I'm doing good dear, don't be tensed feel free, come I'll show you around and will explain about your works ". I nodded and followed her after taking a glance at the closed door of CEO.
I don't know what's going on here but whatever it is I don't want Ms. Ives get hurt.

Daya's pov:

Today was the worst day of mine.

Arghhhhhggg!!!! Why God??!! Why me??!! I got really angry, i know what's going to happen, I've to solve this before something happens, I can't do this anymore.

In the morning I got a call from my parents, they call me for either to ask money or to babble about how disappointed they're about giving me birth and how much did it cost to raise me.
But this time my prediction gone wrong.

" Hello dear, how are you ? " She asked me in unusual tone.

I'm really confused about her intention today in an unusual tone,
She usually address me like am an damn stranger but at this moment I feel really weird and I'm cent percent sure that she's hiding some big trouble for me behind her unusually sweet tone.

" Come straight to the point " _step_ "Mom"
I responded with the opposite of her and as a result it didn't take even a second she went back to her true self.

" Bitch listen, David Uncle called your dad to talk about alliance with Charen and also it's a huge beneficial for our company, you know what I mean right??!! So,be prepared. It's all I want say to you ".
