In the afternoon, she met with the rest of her group to practice the vocals and the dance together. As they gathered in the practice room, she couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension. She knew her improvement in pronunciation might raise eyebrows among the other contestants.

As they began to rehearse, she noticed the subtle glances exchanged between the other girls. Their expressions were a mix of surprise and disapproval, but they remained silent, focusing on their own performance.

Her heart sank as she sensed the tension in the room. She tried to ignore it, focusing instead on her own singing and dancing. But as they went through the routine, she couldn't shake the feeling of being under scrutiny.

Eventually, one of the girls couldn't hold back any longer.

"Um, leader, could you try to keep up with the choreography? You're falling behind."

Her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but she forced herself to remain composed.

"I'll try my best."

As they continued to rehearse, the criticism only seemed to escalate. The other girls nitpicked at every little mistake, their words cutting deeper with each passing moment. However, they made no effort to help her or show her exactly where she was going wrong.

She clenched her fists, struggling to maintain her composure. She knew she had improved with the vocals, but the constant criticism of her dancing was wearing her down.

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore.

"Listen. I know I'm not perfect, but we're a team. And if we want to do well in this performance, we need to work together."

There was a tense silence as the other girls exchanged glances, uncertain how to respond.

A tall and confident girl with piercing eyes, stepped forward, her voice dripping with resentment.

"I don't understand why we have to follow her lead. I was ranked higher than her in the last evaluation. I should be the leader."

Her jaw tightened as she met the girl's gaze.

"If you wanted to be a leader, maybe you should have spent more time in the practice room."

The girl bristled at the remark, her face flushing with anger.

"I don't need to practice as much as you do. Unlike some of us, I can already dance and sing."

Before the situation could escalate further, the redhead girl stepped in once again, her voice calm but firm.

"Let's not argue about the past. What's done is done. We need to focus on the present and work together to make this performance a success."

She took a deep breath, her anger disappearing and disappointment in herself for lashing out swept over her.

"I'm sorry, but there's nothing we can do about it now. The group is stuck with me as a leader."

Then, unexpectedly, one of the girls stepped forward, her expression softened.

"She's right. We may not all get along, but we're in this together. Let's focus on supporting each other instead of tearing each other down."

Slowly, the tension in the room began to ease as the group nodded in agreement. They may not have been the closest of friends, but they were united in their desire to succeed.

With renewed determination, they returned to their practice. This time, however, there was a noticeable shift in the atmosphere. The girls no longer focused solely on their individual performances; instead, they began to work together, helping each other with the dance moves and vocal parts.

The girl who had initially challenged her leadership stepped forward, extending a hand to help her with a tricky dance step.

"Here, let me show you how it's done."

She accepted the help gratefully, feeling a sense of camaraderie beginning to build between them. As they practised together, she couldn't help but admire the girl's skill and dedication.

Meanwhile, the girl who had been critical of her performance earlier approached another contestant struggling with the choreography.

"Try shifting your weight like this."

She suggested, demonstrating the move with precision.

The other girl nodded eagerly, grateful for the assistance, and with guidance, she soon mastered the step, her confidence growing with each successful attempt.

And so, the practice continued, with each member of the group lending a helping hand and offering support where it was needed most. Though they may have started as strangers, they were slowly becoming a cohesive team, united in their goal of delivering a stellar performance.

As they worked together, the tension that had once hung heavy in the air began to dissipate, replaced instead by a sense of unity and purpose. And as the last notes of their routine faded away, the girls shared a collective smile, knowing that they had come together to create something truly special.
