after i pulled my phone out i began to text the group chat,

M: hey guys, jackie and i left school early cause our cousin is already here and my parents were wondering if you guys wanted to come over for dinner so you guys can meet her
JC: it's actually annoying, hopefully she leaves soon
J: we'll be there but not for her but for you guys
W: i think we'd rather see you guys than her
JY: is she really that bad
JC: yes, like at first she may seem nice but then she does sneaky shit and tries to make other people look bad
E: that's weird
A: mega weird, but yeah we'll be there
JV: bro i think school might end early
JC: what? why?
E: there's a early dismissal drill or something, it's like where they do a drill and then instead of going back to class you can just leave
M: really??
JV: nah the early dismissal makes us get out more later, yes madeline you can just leave
M: well damn
JV: you know i love you
E: maybe a little bit more than you love us

i turned my phone off and then spoke, "they said they'll come" i say as we're pulling up the driveway, "great! we are going to start cleaning so when they get here it's clean" my mom says. we get out of the car and are greeted by our father and allison, "jackie, maddy, this is allison. say hi!" our father said, jackie and i walked up to allison to greet her, "hi allison" jackie said with a forceful smile. i gave jackie a look and then greeted allison, "hi allison" i say with a forceful smile as well, after greeting her we all began to clean, i was cleaning my room and jackie was cleaning hers while my parents were cleaning downstairs. while i was cleaning my room i got a message,

J: turns out that there is a early dismissal
M: it's 11.. how is that early
J: okay well at least it isn't 12
M: you're right
J: your boyfriend wants to talk to you
M: my boyfriend?
J: javon
M: we aren't dating
J: suree
J: okay well ima pass him the phone
M: okay
J: hey
M: hey javon
J: i miss ya
M: then comeee
J: we'll be there in about 10 minutes
M: okayyy
J: bye

i turned my phone off and quickly changed into better clothes, i then continued to clean my room and i finished not long after. i went down stairs with jackie and i spoke, "they said they'll be here soon" i say, "who?" allison says, "their friends sweetie! maybe they can be yours as well" our mom says, jackie and i roll our eyes and sit on the sofa until the doorbell rings. i get up to open it and see our friends, they come in and our parents come to the living room too, "welcome guys!" our mom says, "hello mr and mrs presley" they say. they sit in the sofa with jackie and i until my dad speaks, "this is allison" he says and one by one they all greet her, the girls greeted her first and allison looked annoyed and once it was the twins turn, jaden had hugged her and when he'd try to let go allison would only hold on tighter, "allison, let him go" jackie says while giving her a look. she lets go and javon now gives her a hug as well, again, allison would not let go and i gave her a look and she lets go, "why don't we go out to lunch?" my mom says and we do. jackie, our friends and i take my car and allison goes with our parents, we got to the place and we all got out my car. javon and i had always liked each other but never tried anything, while we were about to walk i was stopped by allison, "madeline, can we talk?" she said, javon stopped walking when i did, "yeah of course, go ahead, i'll catch up with you" i say to javon and he nods. he walked with the rest while allison and i stayed back, "what's up?" i say, "i like him and want to date him, will you help me?" she says, "who? jaden?" i say, "yes, but you're in my way. so i need you to stop talking with him" she says looking at me, "i'm in your way? you're fucking crazy" i say laughing. she then shoves me a bit, "get the hell away from him" she says, "look, you just got here and you just met him. i'm not in your way, you're just fucking crazy" i reply and leave her and go back with the others. once i catch up, javon then puts his arm around my neck and i feel someone staring at us, i ignored it and continued to walk to the place, allison ran to catch up with us and she walked alongside my mom. once we got in we were waiting to be seated until allison came over, "hey" she says in a flirtatious way, "hey?" javon replied, "you know, i think you're cute" she says. he looks at me before looking back at her, "thanks?" he says, "i like you jaden" she says, jaden then looks over before speaking, "what? did someone say my name?" he said walking over to us, "no? not you, i'm talking to jaden" allison replies. jaden looked confused, "i am jaden?" he says and I can't hold my laugh in, "you, you set this up didn't you!" she says to me, "i didn't set anyone up, you're the one who messed up" i reply and before she could say anything the host came, "name presley for 11?" the host says and we all go and get seated at our table.
